How to Improve Blog Content

Have you ever stuck when thinking about the content of your blog? I HAVE! Normally, I plan the contents in each month, but sometimes creating an interesting topic can be struggling. It is easy to talk about the #ootd, what to wear, how to style the items, and fashion trend. However, developing the sharable content is good for the Google ranking! As long as I have been keeping up with Google, as well as, its SEO strategies for bloggers, coming up with the content that readers are looking for can result in greater ranking feedback for our blogs too. How? Here are the three tips how to improve the blog content based on my experience.

ALWAYS THE NEW IDEAS, NOT DUPLICATE THE CONTENTS

Why? Duplicating the contents can absolutely affect on the Google ranking. If we have to read the similar posts over and over again, then there is nothing new. The audiences have not been able to learn anything new, nor there is nothing interesting when we have read something alike. We may run out of the new ideas, but trust me, spend some quality time (with yourself) in doing something apart from blogging can help. Whenever I have no idea of what to write, I always watch movies, or do something else online in order to find the new inspiration. The another mind blown activity (yet relaxing) of mine is to get in the car, and blast the music. When I say 'blast' I mean really REALLY loud.

WHAT IS GOING ON

Twitter is a great source of updating the news, or hot topics on social media. In fact, there are a lot of online sources we may use such as Instagram, and other websites. Personally, Twitter is the fastest. I do not have time to search Google what is going on in the industry, so normally I keep updated on what people has tweeted about. However, be selective about what to write. Twitter is not just about the fashion people, there are many things going on in there such as politics, celebrity, etc. How about the fashion news? For me, I read Vogue because I really love their writing style.

INSPIRATION FROM OTHER WRITERS/BLOGGERS

I love reading other people' blogs because it can give me the whole new idea of what to write, and how to improve The Equinox Fashion blog to have a better writing quality. I am a visual person, so photos are my first priority when I visit other websites. Then writing style! I love reading how others write because it gives me the new idea, which I can adapt to myself. As you know English is not my first language, therefore reading blogs can correct my grammar too.

  14. Yes yes yes, I agree on everything. And social media is really so under-appreciated, like people are missing out on potentially hundreds of readers, just by not posting a five-second link on Twitter.
