What is Master's Degree in Fashion Management ?
For those who are deciding whether to take a Master's Degree in fashion management or not, you may find my experience useful to make a decision clearly. Some might know that I have recently graduated with such fashion degree from Manchester, UK (not going to state the university since this post is consisted of both positive & negative notes.) However, I have never explained in detail of what did I study, only thoughts even before I accomplished the degree. If you are thinking about pursuing the career in this field, have a read carefully.

What to Expect in Master Degree
Due to a lot of questions about the course I am currently enrolling in, I think this post would be benefit for those who are still looking for the right answer about Master Degree and if this course will be the best long-term career implementation. I mentioned about this further education in the previous post that experience is still one of the most crucial skills we need because not everybody needs this master degree, however, it also important to learn and step up to the next level of in depth knowledge about fashion industry. Therefore, I am gonna tell you everything about the module, as well as, what to expect in Masters level.
I am studying MA:International Fashion Marketing Management because this course would be able to fulfill my career as a street fashion blogger in terms of online marketing, as well as, fashion business. Do not expect that masters level is about the lecture in class since the reality is more about 'research' and 'critical thinking'
I attend the class only twice a week with no exam but %100 of project. So far, I have been studying Product Development, Organization (Financial Report), Promotion and Communication. It is quite intense tbh because it takes me only a year to accomplish, but I would recommend you guys who recently graduated from university to go out and work for a year or two before applying to this course (but for me I went out backpacking with my friends instead lol) because sometimes it can be difficult to think about the concrete picture of the organization, as well as, the process of the company. I have been working in this industry for 3-4 years so it is what I have been doing in everyday life. I love everything about online marketing and business, hence some of the courses I take can be very beneficial to adapt in my business. It sounds like undergrad program, but this MA level is more in-depth in terms of research and how to apply in reality.
What I love the most? Promotion and Communication are fun for me. I love thinking and perceiving in both business owner's logic, and customers point of view. These two make me think about how to reach the consumers and make it success.
I love it so far, but it does have a flaw in its path since I still confirm in my own words that 'experience is still more important' MA is just another level of understanding the process of fashion business in the whole new level, that's all.
Outfit- Today I'm wearing the blazer sent from The Vintage Scene, one of the vintage stores I love. I used to be the person who wore only tank-top and skinny jeans all the time but I have to adapt myself and take The Equinox Fashion to the next level because I am not quite the same person as before. I am the founder/writer of this blogosphere, studying Master Degree and running the online accessories business called 'Hidden Treasure' So, I always seek for the items to boost up my normal outfit in order to look more professional. I love street fashion, but also love to mix&match and completely elevate the look to become more appropriate in some circumstances. I am still wearing jeans and this colourful crop top, however, I decided to put this blazer on because it matches with the look.
I also love the products provided from The Vintage Scene on the website which can be found on ASOS Marketplace too. If you love 90s vibe, you will love the store like I do :)

How to Improve Your Day Effectively x Ikrush
I have been busy these days due to daily blogging, working at model agency Cliche Models and continuing on my Master Degree, therefore managing the time in everyday life is absolutely crucial to me. Some people ask how can I cope with everything when I am so busy that I don't really have time to do anything trivial, but still manage to sleep around 1 or 2 am every night. I really don't know how or what to answer such question because all I know is I love working. There are some activities which I do daily yet feeling not overwhelmed
1.) As a street fashion blogger, I blog constantly
I don't know about you but if you would love to work in this industry, you gotta put all of the effort into it. Some people take blogging as a hobby, but for me I still confirm on my words that 'The Equinox Fashion' is my career which leads me to many great opportunities that I won't be able to find anywhere else. I blog a few days a week but connect with social media everyday. It is one of the marketing logic that ''we'' have to stay connect with people out there so that our blog or voice will be heard. If you want others to read your blog, then you have to go and introduce yourself first, isn't it?
2.) Don't let Instagram kill you
I have seen some people on Instagram like 24/7 and I feel a bit strange like how they can manage to look at the screen all the time? Although, Instagram is one of the best marketing places in terms of social media platform, it can affect your insecure about followers. Like I mentioned before that this online tool is great but somehow people might feel like competing against one another due to the amounts of followers shown. So, my advice is to go with the flow don't be desperate about followers. Everything happens at the right time. I don't really care how many followers I have or how many others have because this is my work and I just wanna take it slow but potentially.
3.) Read the news
In the previous post, I have suggested that reading the news is important to catch up with what's going on in the world, however, I choose to absorb only ECONOMY and FASHION news. I love marketing, so I love to think about the current situation especially business and money. I don't want to see blood, tears or any crimes because I only go for positive vibe.
4.) Work Out!
Please guys, I really recommend you to go out and exercise because it is so damn good for your health! Don't wait until 45 to realize that working out is good. I used to go to the gym, but now I prefer to stay home and watch Youtube. If you do almost everyday, the result is similar to the gym routine trust me. I don't believe in any supplementary food or any kinds of pills advertised on social media since I think that working out is still the greatest result if you want to get the long term solution. Also, I choose not to consume chemicals in my body since my everyday in the city is surrounded by enough pollution.
So, these four are my daily activities that I HAVE TO accomplish or else I would feel guilty at the end of the day. You can choose to do whatever you want, but don't forget to 'balance' your time. That's the key!
About the outfit- My style is provided from Ikrush and I absolutely love this 90s look which reminds me of my childhood! I chose to wear this jumpsuit with choker because I wanted this look to be my all black signature. Personally, I don't really wear the jumpsuit that much, however, I think I would change my mind from now on since this jumpsuit suits me perfectly. I mean, I really love the texture of the fabric that smoothly fits my body shape while making me look slimmer due to the pitch black colour. Also, I decided to mix and match the look with this 90s vibe choker since I have been in love with this tiny item lately.
Apart from the silhouette, I love the contrast of fabric. High-quality material doesn't come with $$$ because you can always find the treasure hidden somewhere. This light-weight polyester can be worn to many occasions and there's no need to be ironed after washing. Convenient isn't it? Due to my busy schedule, I don't have time to iron my clothes, so this jumpsuit has become another selection I prefer to go with. Another reason why I would love to wear this product again and again is that it contrasts my hair flawlessly. My hair is in three shades of ombre right now, so black outfit always be my priority.
You guys can find a wide variety of jumpsuits, as well as, others items offered by Ikrush, and I can guarantee that you gonna love the fabric like i do!

What Do I Really Think about Master Degree in Fashion Marketing Management
My friend "I am really considering about doing master in fashion"
Me "From my experience, you had better think about it 10 times before making a decision"
Some of you may know that I am currently doing master degree in International Fashion Marketing Management in Manchester, United Kingdom, while blogging for The Equinox Fashion and doing part-time at modeling agency. However, do you really think that the words 'Master Degree' would really affect in my life?
Some people do master for education, while some do for social status. Personally, I have no idea why I am doing this for Lol To be honest, I have learnt wide variety of things in terms of financial, marketing strategies and organization etc but I have never thought that having master degree would make me more clever or better than anybody out there. It's not like "OMG MASTER DEGREE F*** THE WORLD!!!! <--Not at all!
Even though my thinking process seems to be more logically and more business like, I am still the same person who keeps The Equinox Fashion going in everyday. To have the word 'MA' written on your resume is obviously making your profile stand out, but of course it comes with higher expectation and stress since the companies will absolutely want the best out of you. I am come from the country where people judge each other from education, and you know what, it makes me feel disgusted!
I am the person who feels irritated when working with people who don't know how to work, but i have never judged them. Especially, in these days people can have master degree easily if they have money. It sounds harsh, but I don't really think that you need to have master degree if you want to work in this industry. Why? It is all about ''EXPERIENCE" I have been working in this industry for 3 to 4 years, and I keep asking myself "why the hell I am doing master for?..." I am suffering myself by trying to finish assignments which don't really make senses to me. If you can't work, if you don't have skills when applying for jobs, then what are you even doing here?
Anyway, the show must go on right? I need to accomplish this degree for my sake, as well as, to make my parents proud. They expect a lot in me and it took me ages to prove to my mom that blogging is my dream job. My mom didn't understand what this blogosphere would impact my life since she considered it as a hobby. She kinda old school you know, she wants me to settle down with a full-time job in a big organization etc. However, now I quite happy that she is more opening to what I am doing :) So, mom this Master Degree, I am doing for you.
