Tell me a little bit about yourself.
My name is Steffi (28). I’m from Zurich, Switzerland, always been passionate about fashion, styles, travel and photography.
When did you start blogging?
I actually did not start right away with blogging. My friend and I first focused on our first small online shop, which we started in March 2013.
I soon explored my interest and fascination in blogging. Daily, I’ve spent a lot of time online, looking for interesting sites and other bloggers and I’ve gotten more and more excited about it and therefore decided to start my very own blog. I know I just started and therefore I’m a greenhorn :P But it fast became a passion and it’s just so much fun.
I want it to be a place of inspiration, special personal captured moments, and of course mainly a personal style lookbook.
What is your inspiration?
I am actually a passionate dancer (hip hop/street dance). And exactly this “dance-world” is the base of my inspiration. Dancing is a way of expression, whether it’s about your personality or your mood or whatever. And so it comes to the reflection of the style. Dancers often like to dress fashionable and are often a lot crazier, experimental or more courageous when it comes to their style.
And so I am, I guess ;-) You can see a lot of this in my blog pictures.
My style is more “street/urban” than very much “elegant” and “glamorous”. Of course it’s exciting to play around with elegant details here and there, to spice up the outfit. This is what actually defines my personal style.
Swiss people love fashion. They like to dress nice and fashionable. But still….Switzerland is not one of those countries who sets fashion trends. Generally, whether in fashion, or singing or dancing or acting….Switzerland is always very moderate. And this is exactly the reason, why I travel as much as I can to get inspired by other countries and their street styles.
