"Oh My Glasses"


The Equinox Fashion has encountered one of interesting shops located in the heart of Hong Kong which is such a shopping paradise for most of fashion lovers. And that shop is really a perfect match for those who love spending money on accessories like "glasses" since Hong Kong based-brand "Hachill by Oh My Glasses" offers a broad range of fashionable products including glasses and sunglasses that you may want to check them out. 

 Thus, The Equinox Fashion had such a great opportunity to interview the the brand's founder in order to ask some questions and thoughts about sunglasses trend in nowadays.

1. Please tell me a little bit about your background and how did you start the brand.
Oh My Glasses is established in 2011 and is one of the few glasses labels originated in Hong Kong. The founders of Oh My Glasses has a vision that everyone should own a pair of personalized glasses. Our new brand name "Hachill by Oh My Glasses" is launched in 2013 summer.
The style of Oh My Glasses is always fashionable and it continues to have breakthrough innovations. Since the launch of Oh My Glasses, it has been well perceived by celebrities like Jim & Donald (DJs), Aaron Kowk, Ronald Cheng Sammie Cheng, Joey Yung, Eason Chan, Twins, Fiona Sit, Endy Chow (Singers)....

2. Who are the targeted customers of the brand?

Target customers with sense in quality of fashion and life.

3. What type of sunglasses do you have in store? Are there wide variety?

The early launch of the titanium frame together with mercury reflective mirror is favoured by the trendies. In 2013 summer, new titanium frames with different kind of styles are launched. Styles are even more fashionable and trendy.
Also, there are some acetate frames which are craved individually by hand. So each pieces of frames are unique.

4. What do you think about sunglasses trend in nowadays, also in Hong Kong?

About the trend of sunglasses, it is no more just for practical use which is sun blocking. People are now using sunglasses in a wide range of uses such accessories. So people would like to pick some colorful frames with mercury lens. Sunglasses are signature of fashion.
