A Blessing from Homeless Man

Apart from being a blogger of The Equinox Fashion Blog, I think I rarely mention that I love taking a photo. I don't like it, but I LOVE it. Taking photos of something else besides fashion makes me feel better in general and even myself. It shows me another perspective of life. I am not a professional photographer, but I still want to keep these photos just to remind me what I come across. The most important is how they make me feel. Photos, sometimes can describe better than words. And that is my happiness.

HOMELESS MAN WITH HIS BEST FRIEND

Personally, I feel totally related to this photo because I am a dog lover. Also, I gave a can of dog food to him every week when I was a fashion blogger based in Manchester. Look at his eyes fulled of joy with his best friend with him. Isn't it called unconditional love? I think it is because I believe that dog is a human's best friend, and I couldn't be more happier to see people still keep their friends with them, despite the hard time in life. Whenever I gave him a dog food, he always said "Oh thank you very much, he really loves this food *smile*" When the temperature was minus something, he wrapped his dog with a big cloth, while he was wearing just a jacket. Some may say the homeless people only use their dogs just to get an attention from others...really....but those whom I helped looked very grateful when they received the dog food. That's one of my happiest moments in Manchester, a blessing from homeless clans. It's such a great feeling you know.

  17. Oh, Gail, you are such a beautiful soul. I couldn't stop the tears running down my face while reading and looking at these photos. I have a very strong sensitive spot for the homeless, I always have and I always will. I always believed that you can tell an amazing person by the way they treat animals and the homeless, two defenseless beings. You are such an inspiration to me and a TRUE definition of beauty. I hope that everything you ever wish for or desire in life becomes a tangible reality because you certainly deserve it. Sending you lots of love and hoping you have an amazing weekend ahead!

  25. No, dear Gail, it is not true what you are writing! You are definitely a very good photographer - and a good woman, too! The pictures and the story you share here confirm both. Thanks a lot for sharing the pictures and the story and it is really easy to recognise that the dog is really the best friend of this homeless man. Hopefully other persons will give the dog food ...

  27. Those are very beautiful photos. It's so sweet how you'd always give a can of dog food to his dog and it's just amazing how some homeless people are actually the very people who have such a a giving and loving heart. :)
