Going on a vacay real soon? Me too! In the next two weeks, I'm flying to Chiang Mai, the northern part of Thailand. And I am so stoked about the trip, as the last time I went there probably 10 years ago. I know everything must have been changed by now, however, it is gonna be a family trip and I just cannot wait to explore like a tourist myself. How do I normally pack when I go travelling? Easy, I just keep it simple (my kind of 'simple') All I need is the fashion blogger travel essentials.
1) MORE CLOTHES NEVER KILLED NOBODY
That's right, I often pack with the extra clothes just in case I may get wet, or whatever. At least, I will have the spare pieces to wear. I still remembered packing to Tokyo for 9 days, my suitcase weighted about 16 kg which sound a bit crazy. So, just think about when I tried to pack for a year in Manchester, I couldn't even close my suitcases! I don't like wearing the same shorts or tops because 1) I am a hygiene freak 2) Unless, the weather is cold or dry enough. Therefore, I always prepare one or two extra bottoms with me. Especially, if you are a blogger, the photo shoot is a must. Bring whatever you think you want to show on Instagram, and just make it happen.
2) ONE(or +) KILLA SHOES, AND ONE COMFY FOOTWEAR
Do not just bring one killa pair of heels/boots without another flip-flop or comfort one. If you have to walk all day long, the comfy footwear is totally a must. This is what I always do, because I seem to have a problem with my shoes all the time.
3) TABLET INSTEAD OF LAPTOP (OR NONE)
Vacation is a vacation. I don't really bring the laptop with me because just one tablet is more than enough. Actually, I work from phone more than this gadget anyway. From the Excel sheet, to reply the emails, this Samsung Galaxy S7 is the all-in-1. Take a break from your workload, and just ease your mind with your friends and families. Like I say, take a break from all the social media and workload always be a great idea.
4) MEDICINE IS VERY IMPORTANT
You know, it might be difficult to buy the medicine without a pescription in other countries. Especially, in Europe and Singapore. Without the prescription, it seems like this world is just a pain in the a*** So, you had better get ready, and prepare all the medicines you may need!

5) BOOK AND MUSIC IS MY BEST FRIEND
I don't know about you, but I love bringing a book with me when I go on a vacay. Besides, I always download lots of music (as many as I possibly can) in my phone, so that I can put my headphone on and just chill. Do you still remember this CD player though!?

I can totally agree with your choices for travel essentials. Every time I'm going for a trip, those are the things that can never miss.

OMG! CD player! That used to be the coolest gadget after the cassette players. I miss those days...
ReplyDeleteI don't like repeating clothes too when I go on vacation and because I am far too lazy to think of washing them while on vacation. I leave my laptap and tablet at home too. :)

Bringing along comfortable footwear is a key point, cobbled streets in particular can prove to be SO difficult when you've only got wedges and stilettos haha!! :)

Girl, I'm the same way! I tend to over pack, bringing way too many clothes because I always end up changing my mind and I like having options. I agree, it's essential and practical to pack more than one pair of shoes, a cute pair and one that's all about comfort! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you're having a great start to your week so far!
