Visit Kosanji Temple in Ikuchijima Island & Granvia Hotel, Hiroshima

This's actually the first time for me in Ikuchijima Island, Hiroshima. As we are the tourists of Japan, we may think that Hiroshima is only well-known for its unforgotten historical site. However, Kosanji Temple is the place for those who are looking for the sanctuary of mind.

It was a long day for all of us Global Travel Bloggers, from Kobe to Hiroshima, now at Ikuchijima Island. All I could say was that I fell asleep all the way from the temple to the hotel afterwards. However, this place's worth a visit, because not only we could discover the art of the Japanese architecture, but also the real Japanese shops and houses along the way. Forget about the bustling life in Tokyo or Osaka, here at the island, everything's different!

Fortunately, the sakura was in the full bloom :) Therefore, I got a chance to take lots of photos, which I had never thought I would be able to do it. Why? Because, I am from the fashion site...That's right, the world of Thai fashion blogger, who lives& breaths the "streetstyle" However, since I decided to become a travel blogger of The Equinox Fashion, it has changed the perspective of how I see things. I have become the person who are obsessed about the camera's lens. Even sell my photos online. Things always happen for a reason, right?

Here at Kosanji temple, I love the combination of colors so much. Most Thai temples are all about marble and gold. However, the Japanese style is very different. Well, each country has its own style...So, I think it's very interesting to see the art I have never seen with my own eyes. From the world heritage's temple in Nepal, to here in Japan, I feel so lucky to be here. Actually, I feel so blessed that I am a reckless and stubborn person, because now I have got to travel and discover this world.

However, we stayed a few nights at Granvia Hotel, Hiroshima, which I liked it actually. I got the twin room, and all the amenities were already prepared! Plus, the bed was so SOFT & bouncy! haha. What I liked about this hotel was that it is linked to the JR station directly. Therefore, it's very convenient to travel around Hiroshima! Well, I did the photoshoot at the station too, because it's just so clean!

  7. Wow how beautiful. I never imagined such places would exist in a spot so steeped with negativity from last events. I'm planning on visiting Tokyo (hopefully) in October. Your post is making me so excited and yearning to make it happen.

  8. I've heard so many good things about Hiroshima and your pictures are beautiful. I love how spacious your room was - not something I'd associate with a Japanese hotel.
