How to Balance Work and Life

📍 Tokyo, Japan

"Work hard play hard" I'm sure y'll have heard before. That's right, balancing work and life is very important for all of us. Even myself, I would call a 'workaholic' since I probably work 24/7. Not only I am Thai fashion & travel blogger of The Equinox Fashion, but also day-time social media editor for the multi-channel footwear brand Villains SF, and freelance content creator and marketing for a few brands. I don't even know how the h*** I've managed the time so far. Seriously. However, thank god I don't have to go to the office every day, so I can at least spend time for my own project(s) as well as writing blog. How to balance work and life? Here are some of my honest tips, which involving some alcohol.

1. TAKE THE TIME OUT WITH NO WORK INVOLVED

Yes, take the time out is good for your soul. When I work, I put more than 100% in every task (unless when I have a down time) My brain absolutely works 100% and obviously it would be dead at the end of the day. So, you should stop working if you feel like you are about to crash. I mean it, no work, just chill or do something to relax. It's better than forcing yourself to work when the body needs to loosen up.

2. DRINK AND CURSE

The only time to have fun complaining about your work is to 'drink' Especially, if you wanna curse, just drink some beer and do it. Not only you can say whatever you want or talk shit about the unsatisfying stuff, but also you will absolutely have fun and relieve the stress. I don't know about you guys, but for me, it works. Whenever I drink, I complain so much about work (with no regrets) And it makes me feel better in the next day. Somehow, it makes me sleep easier too.

3. SHOPPING THERAPY

I don't really go  shopping these days, but I think it's quite a good session of relieving tension from work. Either you want to go alone or with someone, it's all good. Personally, I love buying the skincare when I'm stressed, not clothes. I feel like, the more I try the products, my feelings tend to be more relaxed and yassss I kinda want to buy everything. Even though I don't buy the expensive skincare or cosmetic in general, stress is when I can splurge without any reasons.

4. WATCH TV SERIES

This is so addictive, I'm not gonna lie. But watching a movie or TV series is the only time when I don't think about work at all.
