📍Penthouse Bar and Grill, Bangkok
In a summer like this, what's better than a chillaxing Sunday brunch at the heart of Bangkok, Thailand right? Level up your food passion on the top of a private penthouse above the city, with wide variety of dishes and all you can eat desserts. As I've been doing a food review of The Equinox Fashion for so long, I've recently got a new place to recommend. If you are looking for a place to satisfy your hunger on a hot Sunday like this, Penthouse Bar and Grill is absolutely a gem worth to try. Located at Park Hyatt Bangkok (short distance walking from the luxury department store like Central Embassy) This place is truly "one-of-a-kind" Sunday brunch experience.
On Sunday 17th of March, I was invited to Penthouse Bar and Grill by my beloved friend, who shares the food passion as much as I do. Girl!!! All I can say is that my relationship with food is unstoppable! (lol) Anyway, as mentioned earlier that this place was one of a perfect places for brunch. we ate from 12:30 p.m. to almost 3 p.m. What I like about the location was that it's located on the 34th fl, which means I could see the stunning view of Bangkok while enjoying everything I could eat #sorrynosorry
Every Sunday, the Penthouse Brunch features premium quality meats and tomahawks, grilled to perfection at an open grill station along with fresh seafood selections such as oysters, Hokkaido scallops, and etc. I can honestly say that all the dishes were freshly made and delicious. Think about the scallop with juicy cheese on top? It was so good that we had to call it double. If you have a chance to visit this place, Chef de Cuisine, Andrew Dickie and team will prepare you with high-quality surf and turf selections made with handpicked ingredients and organic produce at this place. Besides, there's a sweet pantry for those sugar lovers.
The Equinox Fashion with DIY milkshake at Penthouse Bar and Grill |
Have you ever dreamed about having your own dessert pantry, surrounded by all the types of sweets? I have, and this room's absolutely made my dream come true. As long as you are here, you can eat as much as you want #cheatday Also, there's a milkshake corner, which you can DIY yours. I don't know, whenever I see the word milkshake, Kelis's song always pops up in my head "My milk shake brings all the boys to the yard..." You know what I mean? lol Anyway, you can also request pancake and omelette too. Actually, it's quite special because it is usually prepared for those hotel guests who miss the breakfast hours. If you are an owl just like me, this's just perfect. I really don't like waking up in the morning just to eat. How can you even wake up at 9 a.m. if you go out and back to the hotel at 3 a.m.? I will never understand haha.
Besides, there's a live music performance by The Selby Brothers covering classic hits of the past and present.
