Dinner at Hotel Gotham

As I mentioned in the 'Next Lingerie' event last Wednesday, Manchester Arndale was kindly enough to take us Manchester Fashion Bloggers to Hotel Gotham for the fabulous dinner afterward. This wasn't the first time of me as a fashion blogger and food reviewer, but it was my very first time to have such a pleasant dinner at one of the stylish hotels located at the heart of Manchester, United Kingdom.

First of all, I have to say that the view at the restaurant's very beautiful! I could see the buildings, as well as, iconic Manchester's wheel from here. I feel blessed to live on the 21st floor at my apartment which means I can see everything from up there including Harvey Nichols, Deansgate etc. However, this time at Hotel Gotham, it was just new to me because I could see things differently. I love buildings, they are my life.

Apart from the gorgeous view, the food was absolutely delicious. The starter was chicken & ham pie, followed by chicken & chip for main course and warm rhubarb & pistachio bakewell for dessert. I could tell that every dish was delicately made due to the standard of the hotel. Whenever, I do the food review, or even eat at the restaurants, I usually sniff before taking a bite so that I can smell the ingredients properly.

Dinner was absolutely tasty, but my most favourite dish was chicken & chip, especially the crispy chicken's skin mixed with the sweet sauce which maybe made by honey (I guess). Some of the main course I have eaten were a bit too heavy, but this one was served in a perfect proportion. Moreover, the rhubarb was really amazing. If any of you are the pistachio lovers like me, you will love this because the sweet scent of pistachio was really tempting. I actually can eat anything with pistachio ingredients, especially the macaroons because I always order pistachio and vanilla macaroons since these are one of the few desserts I eat. I don't really eat cakes because they are too sweet to swallow, my teeth always have a problem with too much sugar.

However, I had such a great dining experience at the hotel, as well as, enjoyed the conversation with some of the bloggers. Thank you Manchester Arndale, Next Official and Hotel Gotham for having me here :)
