Bonmarche

Thursday, July 9th, 2015, was the first time when I participated in Leeds blogger event hosted by Bonmarche at Lower Briggate, Leeds, United Kingdom. I am Manchester based fashion blogger, but I guess I could call myself Leeds blogger for that day.

The clothing products of Bonmarche is quite mature, compared to my age, however, it was a great opportunity to be involved in the event. First of all, I love the studio, like I really do because its ambient reminds me of the studio in New York City which makes me feel happy. I always be inspired by New York City, so getting my own studio in Brooklyn is the ultimate goal of The Equinox Fashion. I love brick walls more than I love anything else lol.

Some of you may know the Facebook page 'Humans of New York' that captures the street style of ordinary people. I could get that vibe in this room too, since the photos were  put on the wall altogether, and it was pretty cool to see something like that in the UK style.

There were nail and makeup of the North West team to pamper the guests along the event, as well as, complimentary drinks and snacks. In terms of the show, it wasn't the models who walked the catwalk, instead Bonmarche used bloggers to wear their clothes in order to represent the products in real people. It was different from the catwalk I joined or any other events with the professional models, but I loved the fact that they used ordinary people and we all could see how the clothes looked on our bodies. We don't have to be slim and tall to wear the designed clothes, we all can be beautiful by our own styles.

Apart from checked shirt, I liked the floral printed that were so feminine suitable for this AW15. The combinations of red, black and white of the dress are very beautiful, you can even wear it till Christmas season by pairing it with the black coat and heels.

  7. What a fun event and I'm with you on appreciating exposed brick walls. What a fantastic idea it was to get bloggers to model the clothing for each other :)

  22. You really can't beat the food at this place; they have the best vegetarian meals and the most adorable dishes for the kids. The service at party venues in Houston also was impeccable. The salad I had for dinner was delicious as well as the scallop appetizer. The main course of filet mignon and dessert soufflé was also awesome!
