So, I am one of those girls who have a problem with the "belly" Since I gained so much weight after coming back from Manchester (oh hello! Manchester based blogger!) I am not gonna lie, but sometimes, I really have to suck it in, whenever I have to wear a dress, or high-waist jeans. Not really the most comfortable feeling in the world, right? However, I have been in contact with Up & Under, Thai based shapewear brand, who believes that the "confidence within" is the most essential factor for women like us. Though, I am not a big fan of the shapwear (because I am just too lazy to put it on), their product has entirely changed my opinions about that. For a hot-tempered Thai fashion blogger like me, I was wearing this shapewear all day yesterday, even during the photo shoot for the brand I have been working with.

2016, I cared way TOO MUCH about what others were thinking about me. It was such a waste of time, like I spent so much energy trying to figure out why... Why people unfollowed me on Instagram? Why certain people didn't treat me the way I treated them? Why some of my friends never congratulated my success? These questions were seriously shit to be honest...We all have different resolutions this year, but if you ask what is mine? Frankly, 'not to give A F' is the answer. Why you should have the same goal as mine? Because it can make you feel so weightless and happy about life even more.

If you follow The Equinox Fashion Instagram, you will notice that I am on the social media hiatus mode due to the unstable state of mind I have been dealing with. Confusion has got me to doubt and dwell on my thoughts on and on. Therefore, I think it would be a great idea if I step myself back from everything I am doing at the moment. Doing what you love, when you are off guard only leads to the unsatisfying result...Besides, you can't even concentrate on anything when your mind is wandering around. I have been working for a few clients, as I am not committed to any full-time positions. And that's the reason why balancing myself on the social media is very important. I have worked as a fashion blogger for The Equinox Fashion, fashion marketer for the multi-channel footwear retailer and admin for the wine bistro& restaurant. Yet, I am about to land another position soon. My life is so complicated right now because I have been working like crazy. Sometimes, just to grab the phone, log in the Instagram, like a few posts, and I am tired already! Who else feels the same? Therefore, here are a few tips how to manage the online presence I have found effective.

Tokyo Street Fashion

It's been so long since the last post of me and my go-to Clarin Glasses...maybe 2 weeks that I didn't post anything. I was travelling in Tokyo, Japan for 8/9 days, so I wanted to dedicate these precious days just to experience the Japanese lifestyle. Tokyo street fashion is so variety that I am very impressed in the uniqueness of the style. Either it is the extreme Cosplay or Lolita fashion, I have found that the individuality of boys& girls here is very interesting. Whatever I have read or seen in the J-drama is real, and that's the reason why I want to go back there again. 

We All Need that B**** Attitude

I am not gonna lie, that (good) bitchy attitude has sculptured me to become a strong person nowadays. Bitch has three meanings for me; 1) the terms I (or we) call the BFF, 2) tough, strong, high-standard, fighter, 3) S*U* So 'we all have that bitch attitude' means the moment when we just have to step out from the crowd, and stand for ourselves. Admit it ladies, this world is not a sweet fantasy like in a cartoon. In contrast, it is the world mixed with good and bad people. The more I grow up, the more I realize that it is all about a competition, even in the blogging industry. We can't just be kind to every single person because being too kind means letting the guard down. As a result, it may lead to the point of being taken advantage. I am kind, but I have never let my guard down because I have this bitchy mode on literally to protect myself from being let down and disappointed. Similar to work, I am picky and bossy and I know that being like this will lead to the great performance of the project I have worked on. 

Reasons Why I love Getting Older (Happy Birthday to Me)

I know it is weird to say that the more I am getting older, the more I love my life.  Though, I have been concerning about my face more than before (you know what I mean, the beginning of anti-aging product), I really love living my life right now. Maybe, I wasn't be able to be myself or do what I loved when I was younger, that is one of the reasons why gambling with my blogging career has been my everything. Sweats and tears, everything has happened along the journey. Working part-time as a fashion marketeer, I have been enjoying and appreciating every single bit of what is going on. I am sad that my one and only dog cannot celebrate my birthday because he is somewhere in the heaven right now...However, life goes on, right? Looking in the past not just how much I have dedicated to The Equinox Fashion Blog, family, relationship, career, everything has made me stronger. 

How to be Fashion Blogger Under a Budget

We have every right to buy whatever we want, it is up to our choices. From the high-end designer to random clothes, everything has its own price. I am not going to lie, but the expensive designer products do draw an attention to the social media faster than those normal items. Obviously, they are the luxurious things that girls like us have always wanted to have. If I had a million dollar in my savings, trust me, I would buy everything from D&G to Moschino every week. However, I am not in that stage, so I literally can't. The fact that, I am still working as a blogger, fashion marketeer, and freelance writer, I still need to survive ha! However, don't let this perspective of the rich&famous lifestyle in the social media get you. Being a fashion blogger doesn't mean we have to spend loads of budget on the clothes we wear. I have spent money way too much on the FOOD because I am just a girl who enjoy eating (lol). Therefore, I don't really mind buying cheap clothes or fast fashion brands because sometimes they have a great quality with a funky design that I can't even find at the department stores. 

What Is Marketing Executive Job?

So where should I begin? If you have connected with me via LinkedIn, you will notice that I have been working as a marketing executive for Villains SF Footwear for almost 2 months now. So far, so good...I have been working on everything related to my experience. It is actually what I have looked for in the career. What is the point to work on something we didn't sign up for right? It happened to me several times when I applied for what I wanted, but the job description (as explained by the interviewer) was totally opposite from what I had looked for. It would be so weird, yet challenging to accept such role, though it differed from what online told me. To be honest, the marketing executive job is varied depending on what company it is. Villains SF is a fashion company, so my duties are obviously related to my master degree, which is a 'Fashion Management' However, if I worked at the import-export company, the marketing job would absolutely be something else. So, what is the job involved? Do I have a chance to apply if I am a fashion blogger? Get ready young grads, because I am about to answer every question you want to know.

Super flared jeans are my current obsession. I had never thought I would love them because I am not that type of person who constantly wear these classic pieces, however, I did and I loved how they fit my body shape perfectly. In the previous post, I did my very first DIY fringe hem denim provided by Denimornate, Bangkok based brand whose jeans are amazingly designed and crafted with the top quality textile. I have never said the good points about the brands I have never tried the products, so do not worry if what I am writing is exaggerating or not. Jeans and I used to be a frenemy (friend+enemy) as I would never pick them for my daily #OOTD. Why? They just make me look short...Well I am only 5'2" (surprise!) and I prefer to go with shorts or over-sized shirts just to make me not looking like a midget. Besides, it is too hot in Bangkok, Thailand anyway. However, I have recently addicted to jeans (I know it's a bit late lol) and actually I have transformed most of them to be the fringe hem jeans. Besides, I also love the fact that cutting off the end of my to-go jeans can make me look taller too! Apologize for My On/Off Presence on Social Media

If you have followed my Instagram, you may be able to notice that I seem to disconnect myself to the channel lately, not just the IG, but almost every platform. It is not like I want to give myself a break from this blogosphere, but I have been very busy with my dog, which in a critical stage of his illness. If you know me, you will realize that dog is my everything, especially this 17/18 year-old son. 

I Am Tomboy Style Blogger, What About You?

What does it take to be a tomboy or an androgynous style blogger? How do I cope with the latest woman’s fashion trend, which sometimes can be an incredibly girly girl? To be honest, I have never had any problems with this stuff at all. Besides, I am just happy as the way I am because my blog is my style, and I am so madly in love with who I have become. When I have to put the skirt on, I always lose my confidence up to 80%. That is the fact, and I do not feel embarrassed or anything. Silence Is The Real Confidence

To tell you the truth, I have had a really tough week (s), a really tough tough one that makes me feel as if I want to stop thinking about everything. I wish I could tell my head to stop producing such disgusting thoughts, curiosity, etc. There's nothing about work though, I am talking about 'people' here. Have you ever had the moment, which you wish you could disappear somewhere, where nobody knows who you are? I have. Apart from social media that made me feel overwhelmed 2 weeks ago, now I am dealing with another new challenge, which involved in those who have so much of bullshit to tell others. My instinct is never wrong, and it pissed me the f*** off when others have a distorted perception about me. I have had to deal with this stuff week after week, but now I guess I am fine. Why? Because I have decided to let such toxic go. Like they say "Confidence is silence, insecurity is loud" 

How To Stop Judging Yourself

According to the previous post 'How to not feel overwhelmed by social media', the next step of uplifting the spirit is how to stop judging 'yourself' How many times have we asked ourselves, and compared to others. To be honest, I have questioned myself several times. As mentioned, sometimes I feel really overwhelmed by the industry and it makes me doubt whether I  am gonna be able to accomplish the goal I have set. I believe that we all have the reasons to blog. We want to become a successful blogger, in order to get opportunities to work with brands, earn money, and live the life freely. Trust me, stop saying bad things about yourself, because if others can make it, so are you.

How Not To Feel Overwhelmed by Social Media

Again and again, that I am feeling overwhelmed by the social media. Have you ever felt like this before? The moment when you feel what is the point of staying presence on Instagram, selecting the best photo to upload, checking the numbers of followers, and feeling down when those figures are not going up, even someone has decided to disconnect with you for some reasons. No offence, and nothing personal, I think it is just one of those days when I (or we) are feeling crushed by the power of the online game. It would be a lie to say that I feel happy all the time when I use Instagram, but sometimes I don't feel that way. Occasionally, I have to force myself to post something online, no matter how shitty I feel. I LOVE social media, and I appreciate everything that has happened to my life. I am so jealous of those who can make it this year because it has always been a dream of mine to go to the music festival like that. Well, in fact, there are so many music events I would die to go such as Tomorrowland and Ultra. I love electronica music, so to be able to have fun at a live music festival like that would be the ultimate dream of my life. Blogging is a good investment, depending on what we are investing in. Clothes, designer brands, camera, etc I believe we, as bloggers, have the similar perspective towards these items. However, not every clothe we wear worth our spending, nor every camera model gives us the same satisfaction.
