Happiness Guide

We may or may not have those days that we wish we could delete from our memories. Some may live the happiest lives (you're lucky!),  but like I said no one is perfect. At least we may come across the days which keep haunting us. I am also one of those people, and I guess most of us also have the same experience, right? However, this is the new day, and I believe that the happiness does exist if we allow it to be. So, here is my 'happiness guide'

If I could wish for something, I wish I didn't have to put up with the burden of the mistake choices I made in the past. Literally, last week it kept me thinking over and over of what I have done, and how it affected me so bad. However, it is only the 'mind' that we allow such memories to keep playing with us. I know I can't fix or solve whatever happened, but I or 'we' are able to choose to 'forget' it. I know it's hard to completely forget everything, however, at least give it a try and stay in the present.

One of my happiness methods is to do a meditation and try to think that this is it, the way we are living at the moment. There is no reason why we should rethink about the past because it is only devouring our souls. I have been through that really, I stressed, I cried and I felt like shit tbh. But what to do now? Am I gonna let it get me down, or stop thinking and moving on? Of course, I would be stupid enough to let it get me.

We all have the past, our different pathways and choices we made. No matter if it was good or bad, we gotta realize that this is it, the reality and the moment we are here. Right here, right now, take a deep breath and continue on living. It's not easy, but try and you will see that happiness is actually all around.

  1. I totally enjoyed reading this Gail. Often times all we have to do is take a deep breath and continue living. I need to try to meditate more. Great post.

  7. I definitely get stuck sometimes, looking back on things I can't change - the only way to move forward with happiness is to accept the past and mistakes and use it as fuel!

  17. Dear Gail, I think we all regret things and would do them in another way if we had the possibility. Nevertheless I have to admit that I learned most from the things I really regret afterwards. They learned me to take care and on which points to look when a decision is to make. Further they gave me the hint that it is much better to be silent as to speak - at least mostly :) The methods you mention here are sounding convinced. For me blogging is very helpful when I have such thoughts as it seems to clear my mind ... nevertheless you look very cool and happy in your happy colourful dress <3 All the best to you, I'm convinced you are absolutely on the right way!

  20. First of all-I love this dress. It reminds me of fish scales from far away and it is so pretty! Great pictures too-the balloons add such a lovely affect :)

Anyway, it is hard to look back in the past but like your said, no one is perfect and everyone is going to make mistakes. The only thing we can do is look forward in our lives and learn from the past :)
