Interviewed and photo shoot with WearYouWant, Thai blood online fashion retailer, some of you may have seen the photos I have posted on The Equinox Fashion Instagram already. However, what bring my attention here is that I have not done or shared my personal journey of 'how did I become a fashion blogger for The Equinox Fashion' yet. Wanna know what I've been up to nowadays? Which brands I have worked with? Based on the interview I did (in Thai), here is something I cannot wait to share with you all.
How did you start your fashion blog? And what's the inspiration of becoming the writer for The Equinox Fashion?
"I studied Arts (linguistic), and graduated from Chulalongkorn University. I think everything has started since I was in the senior year. I love reading a blog, so I just want to have my own too. I think most of my inspiration come from personal taste in music I listen to. I don't know, it just relates to my feelings, and style. I also took a course in fashion design at Bangkok FA, the art school in Bangkok, Thailand. After graduated, and worked full-time for a while, I submitted my CV to do a volunteer during London Fashion Week 2013. Then, did the Masters in Fashion Marketing in Manchester. I have had an opportunity to work with a lot of brands, featured on their social medias, etc."
What have you been doing these days?
"Apart from my blog work, I have worked for other blogs, and a bit of my freelance job too. Being a contributor for CA based brand, as well as, social media, and blogger outreach for a few."
There are a lot of fashion bloggers nowadays, so how the fashion blogging scene is different in the countries you have lived?
"Personally, the blogging scene between Thailand and UK is totally a different story. Fashion here in Thailand is like celebrity endorsement. Korean, or K-pop trend, unlike the UK, where people can embrace their styles and walk on the street confidently. Maybe my style is not what people here are looking for, so 95% of the audiences, and followers are from other countries."
What is your style, or The Equinox Fashion style?
"I love pairing everything altogether! I love the variety of the clothes in Bangkok, because it is easier to have more options! I love wearing wedges, or loafers."
What is your secret of achievement?
"I think it's all about consistency. When I focus on something, I will always pay all of my attention to it. It would be a shame not to take such opportunities in front of us, right?
