Body Tune, Professional Health Massage

Last Thursday, I had an opportunity to do another spa review for The Equinox Fashion, and this place is one of my faves indeed. I have been to Body Tune several times, but mostly for the foot massage. However, this time was somehow different because they provided me with the Double Relax course; Thai massage first, followed by aromatic oil massage session. If you need the professional health massage place while travelling in Bangkok, Thailand, this is the one I would recommend.

Why this place? Not any other places on the street? Well, there's nothing wrong with massage on the street if you just want to experience Thai massage for the first time (I mean if you are not that serious about it), or even want to cool off the tension of your feet after a long day of walking. Personally, I love going to the spa, so the good massage treat is like a reward. Some may say every massage place is the same, but I disagree...I have tried more than 10 places, even the 30 minutes foot massage at Khaosarn Road, or an hour relaxing session at the luxury spa. It's literally different...When I was young, I thought any would be the same, because I had zero knowledge of how the bad massage can affect your health. Unfortunately, one place got me headache like a nightmare. After that, I have always been to the well-trusted massage and spa, since I just don't want to go through the horrible experience ever again. Even when I was Manchester fashion based blogger, I went for the Thai massage at China Town, but it was horrid. Those girls probably were trained without the license... And FYI, it's dangerous.

The art of Thai massage is incredible, but if do it in the wrong way, it can change your life. There are many cases when people claimed that they went to the hospital due to an awful massage. That's the main reason why I have chosen Body Tune, not because I was invited to do the review, but I have been here many times. So, I know the staff are well-trained and got the license as a professional massage therapists.

I was welcomed by the Butterfly pea drink (look at this gorgeous blue!), which was very refreshing after 5 minutes walk in the Bangkok heat. The staff were very friendly and introduced me to the place in detail. Most of the customers here are foreigners, especially Chinese, and Singaporean. Trust me, it's very expensive just to have 25 minutes of massage abroad! Hence, you are in the right place in Bangkok!

Yes, what I had was the 2nd one, 120 minutes of deep relaxing. Normally, I don't really go for Thai massage, because it can be a painful experience. However, if you want to relieve the pain of a certain parts of the body, you will need to give it a shot. Especially, for those who work in front of the laptop all the time (like me), your shoulders and neck may probably stiff. But don't worry, after the first hour of traditional Thai massage, you will be fine because of the aromatic oil. For me, it was very tranquilizing indeed! Not only it made my body feel great, but the oil's also good for the skin!

However, before you start the session, you will be able to pick the scents of the oil you want. What I picked was Lime, which smelled very light and just amazingggg! If you love something like a citrus, I can guarantee you will love my selection :) Normally, there are also Eucalyptus, Lavender, Tangerine, and Bergamot as well.

The location I went to was located at Sukhumvit 39, which probably the biggest branch among others. Actually, it's very convenient because it only took me about 5- 10 minutes walk from the BTS Prompong station. This's the 2 storey building, and each room is bigger than the branch I went to. Both also have the built-in toilets, and even a shower room.

First Impression
