Urban Grunge Fashion is my Comfort Zone

No any other words needed to describe my fashion style, when I look at this photo. I mean, I can honestly say that I feel 100% confident, whenever I get the urban grunge outfits on. Not only it represents my personality, but also shows who the fashion blogger of The Equinox Fashion is. I spent years to find who I really am, and now I have found my call, which I will never want to trade for something else...As I always say that "be yourself" is the most important thing in this life, because it's a waste of time to pretend to be someone else.

As one of Thai fashion bloggers, I can honestly say that the community of street style blogger is very little. There are lots of bloggers, but mostly are beauty and...yea beauty. Fashion & travel bloggers in Thailand are very rare. That's the reason why I have decided to become one :) So far, so good actually! Because my journey with Global Travel Blogger Summit Japan went pretty well! Have you read my kimono rental experience yet? You should! Because I looked like the whole new person haha...Well, I enjoyed being a girly-girl for a day anyway.

However, the real "me" is this look. The grunge girl gone mad with the resting bitch face. I mean, I don't really smile, but when I do, I mean it.. :) When I was in Taipei, Taiwan (for the hotel review at Amba), everyone looked at me. I am not bragging here, but it literally happened, because none of the people on the street wore the clothes like I did. CHECKED! That's my goal to be honest...I think next time, I am gonna bring the black lipstick ha!

Sometimes, I hate the social media (like a love-hate relationship) Because it influences on the girls like us effectively. Obviously, there always be the time, when I consider myself changing the look & style to be more 'mature' and minimal chic kinda thing. "Less is more" I agree, but I don't feel like myself after all.  Moreover, it is so hard to maintain such style, when my heart screams the f*** out. I think it is OK to wear whatever we want, but just don't lose the identity to the mainstream...That's how we see ourselves as a 'brand' right? If we dress alike, act alike, take phot alike, just like every fashion blogger out there, we will never be different from the crowd...Like never ever.

I simply wore the faux leather jacket, which I bought online (only $$). However, the special gimmicks of the look were 1) I straightened my lion-like hair, 2) I paired this look with the suede bag from Hexa Bags, Thai based brand leather companion.

I felt like this beautiful bag would suit so well with the grunge #OOTD and I was right! I really loved the colors contrast between back (my all time fave color) and green (dad's fave), the perfect combination of the style of the day indeed. Besides, I also roamed around Taipei with this bag, and the quality's superb. I mean, I could literally put my passport, mobile phone, a few cosmetic items, etc in the bag. It's such a handy item really.

  3. I remember when I started blogging there was about 4 other Thai fashion bloggers that lived in Thailand haha So many beauty bloggers though! I love your grungy style, I used to dress a lot girlier because I was influenced by Bangkok street style & the girls in their ruffles & pastel colours but I definitely find this kind of style a lot more comfortable & I love this look on you!
