What to Do at Kishiwada (岸和田市), and What to Eat?

So, where in the world is The Equinox Fashion today? 'Kishiwada' (岸和田市) 45 minutes from Osaka by train. If you want to experience the real Japanese lifestyle, I would absolutely recommend to come to this town. Not only you will be able to see the old style house, but also the castle, which you can learn more about Kisiwada back in those days. As some of you may know that I love scouting, exploring, and absorbing the way of living in every country I go. That's how I roll every time I travel. Being Thai travel blogger of The Equinox Fashion doesn't mean to stay at the luxury hotel such as W Hotel only, but to go out there and live like a local is the key.

Here at Kishiwada, everything was very simple. It is totally different from Osaka, Tokyo and any other big cities in Japan. However, one of the best part I had with Kishiwada Tourism was the local food (lol) That's right, I love eating, so #noshame Being the food blogger means eating is 'life' At the place we went to was so delicious that I couldn't describe how much I would love to eat okonomiyaki everyday haha. Besides, I got a chance to mix Yakisoba (fried Japanese noodle) myself. If you remember my Japanese cooking class with Yoshino, this's the 2nd time I cooked the dish.

I ate way too much at this local restaurant, but no regret. Because the day at Kishiwada, I did about 22,000 walking steps around the town, for about 4 to 5 hours. However, that's not the only thing I ate, because the dessert always be the key to woman's heart, right?! I also had the flake snow, mixed with Japanese red beans and fresh mochi. It was very refreshing! Think about the heat in the Summer, this sweet would be one of the main best sellers ever!

However, what I loved about Kishiwada was the 'real' lifestyle I could 'feel' The best part was I walked pass those old houses, which probably can be seen in Kyoto only. The old-fashioned architecture was very interesting, and it just looks like what I saw in the anime. Something like that's real!

If you are into the castle, you need to visit Kishiwada castle, located in a walking distance. It's majestic and historical. Plus, there were a lot of information about this city in the past, including the Samurai costume, and etc. Nearby, there's a restaurant that used to be the house of the rich man of this town. However, he donated his property to the city later on. Below, you will know why I LOVE this place so much! The Japanese garden style is all about the harmony and beauty of the nature. 'Zen' you know!
