📍 Osaka, Japan
Are you heading to Osaka soon? You'd better get ready because that city is crazy! Not only the ultimate street food, but also the nightlife you will never forget. So, where to stay in Osaka? Here I've got 3 different styles of accommodations to recommend! 1.) Minimal vacation apartment 2.) Japanese Apartment Style Airbnb 3.) Traditional Japanese Hotel
Welcome to another series of The Equinox Fashion Travel Diary! This time, it was just an hour of chilling at Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, one of the famous attractions for every traveler in Osaka. Remember Kobe Animal Kingdom I went in April? Here is another place you can experience the aquarium life, which includes a wide variety of fish, and massive whales. With the price of 2,300 yen, I think it's absolutely worth to give it a go :)
So, where in the world is The Equinox Fashion today? 'Kishiwada' (岸和田市) 45 minutes from Osaka by train. If you want to experience the real Japanese lifestyle, I would absolutely recommend to come to this town. Not only you will be able to see the old style house, but also the castle, which you can learn more about Kisiwada back in those days. As some of you may know that I love scouting, exploring, and absorbing the way of living in every country I go. That's how I roll every time I travel. Being Thai travel blogger of The Equinox Fashion doesn't mean to stay at the luxury hotel such as W Hotel only, but to go out there and live like a local is the key.

Another food coma night with Osaka Gourmet Walk. Seriously, since I became a food blogger, life just couldn't be happier (lol) As you know, a part of my traveling in Osaka with The Equinox Fashion was to 'eat' That is right, tonight, I have got 3 top Takoyaki shops at Namba to recommend! Takoyaki is Osaka soul food, which you may not want to miss (don't forget that you can pay 3,500Yen to buy 8 tickets from Osaka Gourmet Walk, and no more cash to spend while eating. Because 8 tickets, 8 places of food-hopping, I think it's very convenient for the traveler like me)
If you follow The Equinox Fashion Instagram, you probably notice that I spent more than a week in Osaka (YES! life as a travel blogger always be like that!) That's why I have received messages, and questions 'where to stay in Osaka?' I know I have done the hotel review, but have I ever mentioned that Airbnb has always been my go-to choice too?! For this time, I was invited to stay at one of the cozy Airbnb 'HG Cozy Hotel' Located only 10 to 15 minutes from the famous area such as Dotonbori, Namba, and etc. As well as, 5 to 10 minutes walking to the train stations. However, the reason why I loved staying at this place is that the area was quite and safe (I am a solo travel blogger, so I could say this!). The greatest getaway from the crowd & tourist, which made me feel like I was at home. Yep, privacy is the key!

The Equinox Fashion was invited to DOTON PLAZA, in order to have the enjoyable tax-free shopping experience, while traveling in Osaka. Of course, who wouldn't love it?! As a fashion & travel blogger from Bangkok, Thailand, I know exactly what Thai shoppers want. I don't know about you, but most people from Thailand fly to Japan (as we don't need the visa anymore) Not only to travel, but also for the shopping sake. Especially, a drug store! Even for me, it is like a paradise, because most of the items are CHEAPER than what I've found in my country. I am not joking, but some can be half-priced. That's the reason why I went to DOTON PLAZA with Osaka Wonder Loop afterwards. I was friendly welcomed by the team, and just couldn't wait to explore all of the 3 floors! So, shall we begin?
Do you know that I am wearing this leather blazer, which's originally designed for men? Yes, that is right, I love wearing menswear, and I don't really go to the women's section at H&M, or other retailers anymore. While, I was traveling in Osaka, I had an opportunity to meet the owner of Yuzen Leather, the handcrafted bag brand from Osaka, Japan. Not only we were talking about the inspiration behind these beautiful handmade bags, but also getting to know the owner of Yuzen Leather. As mentioned in the previous post that I love meeting new people, so this was one of the days that counted. Especially, I have always wanted to know more about Japanese fashion industry, as well as, the local/traditional fashion sense! It is totally different from others!
Waqoo- Shitadera, Osaka was the newest Japanese hotel in town. Though I didn't have a chance to stay that long, I could honestly say that I absorbed the Japanese culture from the hotel in just one night. From the traditional food set (bento) to Shakyo and Shabutsu practice, it was such a good experience to get to know Japanese more by the activities offered. Want to have a few nights in the Japanese style bedroom? Here is the place you might want to consider before booking a flight to Osaka.
If you follow me on my Instagram (@thequinoxfashion) You may notice that all I had been doing in Tokyo and Osaka was 'eating' I mean why not? Japan is one of the dessert paradises like I always mention...As a food blogger of The Equinox Fashion, eating is my cardio. In fact, according to the stats I regularly check, you guys seem to enjoy my Food Review, even more than some other sections! So, I just want to fulfill your desire by introducing y'all to another chiffon shop I went to. That's right, another day, another chiffon. Here in Osaka, Symphony Chiffon (シンフォニー・シフォン 北堀江店)'s absolutely the right place if you are a dessert lover.
