Fine Dining Experience at Akira Back Bangkok

📍Akira Back, Bangkok

If you are looking for a place to have fine dining experience in Bangkok, I would recommend Akira Back at Mariott Marquis. I love Japanese food to the core, and actually one of the restaurants is my client, so at least I have the food background to fulfill the food testing tonight. However, here at Akira Back, it is the fusion of Japanese x Korean sensation. Therefore, I was really tempted to try whatever they would recommend. Because isn't it interesting when it comes to the fusion food? Are you googling where to have dinner this weekend? How about booking a table and satisfy your palette with the Asian chemistry.

As a part of food blogger of The Equinox Fashion, I have had a great opportunity to do the food review for many clients, including in Bangkok, Tokyo, and some other places. Eating is an art right? I would say so! So, what to expect when you step in this urban-luxe restaurant? For me, as soon as I walked in the restaurant, gotta loved the vibe already. It was modern, luxury and chilling indeed.

Here at Akira Back, the VIP menu consists of Tuna Pizza (one of my faves!) Jeju Domi, and AB Tacos for the starter. The main dishes are Hot Mess Roll, Red Dragon Roll, followed by Lava Souffle and Honey Yogurt Panna Cotta for the dessert. Honestly, I was impressed by the Tuna Pizza since the first bite. The well-balanced of the tuna combined with the crunchy of the pizza was literally amazing. It was my first time here, and absolutely gonna have the 2nd and 3rd time coming!

Another dish I MUST recommend is the AB Tacos because it is where Mexican meets Asian. The proper sweetness of Wagyu bulgogi with roasted tomato ponzu was very delicious. It was fresh, crunch, juicy, I could eat this all day.

However, it's not enough just yet. Because there were 2 types of rolls to try, Hot Mess Roll and Red Dragon Roll. The first one's crab& avocado/ sashimi poke and spicy ponzu aioil. Literally, it was a pack of punch with flavors! The latter's asparagus tempura with crab and angry tuna.

If you are a fan of the sweet, you will never want to miss these two! Souffle was very soft and just 10/10 out of deliciousness. Also, the Panna Cotta was served with fresh fruits, coconut sorbet and "POP ROCKS' It was reminding me to my childhood really!
