Smokey Eyes+Red Lipstick,Should I ?

Smokey eyes with dark red lipstick
for my chillax day

I've heard the question repeated several times "Should I wear smokey eyes with red lipstick?", " Is it gonna be ok?","Is it gonna be too much?" ... 

But you know what for me,I think "yes" even though some people say No. I love red lipstick because it looks sexy and helps brightening the teeth.  And my technique is, I always match  smokey eyes with a dark red lipstick for more dramatic look. 

(HOWEVER, in the daytime you shouldn't put too much super heavy smokey eye, just a simple and plain that's already done)

Just like many artists who wear red lipstick with their smokey eyes 

However if you are not confident, you can keep the rest of your make-up neutral like this.
