Trends Illustrated


After visiting Warehouse showroom in London on Friday, I spent another 5-hour on the road to come back to Manchester in order to participate in "Trends Illustrated" event hosted at Manchester Arndale on Saturday, 28th March 2015. Sometimes, I feel like a normad since I have been travelling to London quite more often these days because I am trying to land myself in the capital city for job opportunities and meeting new people. Only 5 hours of resting, I woke up at 8:30 am and ready to complete another blogger task with Arndale team. 

It wasn't just me, bloggers and staffs but also 'Dom & Ink' Illustrator and author of 'Map My Style' who was commissioned by Manchester Arndale to showcase the trend of Spring/Summer15. I have met Dom once at After Dark event a few months ago, and he's the one who drew me such beautiful illo work with Dr.Martens outfit. However, the Trends Illustrated event gave us bloggers more opportunity to engage with the style and let us create our own products designed by Dom & Ink. Oooh! Who wouldn't love to be involved in such amazing event when we all had a chance to wear our own designed tees!?

As some of you may notice that I am pretty obsessing with the green shade at the moment, therefore I would love to create something different from my usual monochrome outfit in order to match in this season. So, I chose to play with the bright blue background with this green hair chic and massive lips. I spent about 10 minutes designing my favourite t-shirt which I am gonna style for the next post! Trust me, when it comes to designing or creating the art work, I can literally spend the whole day putting my life and soul in it because it makes me feel relaxed. 

Once again, thank you Manchester Arndale and Dom & Ink for such a lovely morning! I really had a great time spending with you guys :))
