MANAGE THE ONLINE CONTENTS AND SOCIAL MEDIA
The first and foremost point of being the marketing executive for the fashion brand is to make sure that the online contents are smooth and spot on. I love the online marketing world, and now I have been working in this sphere which is very challenging. My duty is to plan the weekly content, as well as, manage the social media, such as Facebook and Instagram. Some people think it is easy to plan the content each week, but for me it is not. To capture the audience's attraction is never gonna be easy. The followers are from different backgrounds, so what does it take to win their hearts? I have tried a lot of types of contents such as GIF, funny videos, shoe hacks, etc, then I have found what they tend to give me a 'like' Sometimes, it stresses me out when the feedback of some posts are not that great (when I expect a lot of likes, when I think this's what they are gonna love) You know what, everything can change.
STAY ALERT OF WHAT' S GOING ON IN THE INDUSTRY AND SOCIAL MEDIA
Maybe social media is something between the marketing and IT, but I still think that it is important to know what's going on because the social media game changes everyday. Today, people love Facebook, tomorrow the new app will come out. In order to find the content and stay up-to-date, I have to read VOGUE to update the trends and adapt to the brand I have worked with. Once, I found the trendy shoes on the runway, I can link and promote what the brand can offer straight away. You wanna work and sell your brand? You need to be quick!
WEEKLY BLOG WRITING
YAY! My fave part of the week is writing a blog (and I am sure you too! ☺️) However, SEO and keywords is a must. I need to work together with the online/IT guy who provides me all the information before I can write it down. Don't worry, it is still a fashion related, so you will have fun here. At least, you give your brain a break from the marketing nightmare for an hour or two.
ACTIVITY PLANNING (INC EVERYTHING TO ATTRACT THE CUSTOMERS)
Yep, this is another favourite part of mine too. To think and to attract the consumers is the best. It is fun to brainstrom how to call the action and get them to buy the products. However, it is not just me because I have to work with other members (#team) Our team is small, but we all specialize specifically. The more the merrier!

Apart from being the voice as a content creator and writing the press release, get in touch with the other press is maj. So far, my duty is to get in touch with the magazines in order to promote the shoes. Sometimes, writing email back and forth when they want to borrow the shoes for the photo shoot (but all the docs are handled by another marketeer in the group). Is it fun? YES!!
