What Is Marketing Executive Job?

So where should I begin? If you have connected with me via LinkedIn, you will notice that I have been working as a marketing executive for Villains SF Footwear for almost 2 months now. So far, so good...I have been working on everything related to my experience. It is actually what I have looked for in the career. What is the point to work on something we didn't sign up for right? It happened to me several times when I applied for what I wanted, but the job description (as explained by the interviewer) was totally opposite from what I had looked for. It would be so weird, yet challenging to accept such role, though it differed from what online told me. To be honest, the marketing executive job is varied depending on what company it is. Villains SF is a fashion company, so my duties are obviously related to my master degree, which is a 'Fashion Management' However, if I worked at the import-export company, the marketing job would absolutely be something else. So, what is the job involved? Do I have a chance to apply if I am a fashion blogger? Get ready young grads, because I am about to answer every question you want to know.

After receiving a good feedback from the SEO Tips for Pinterest, here is the post that everyone is talking about. That's right the 'SEO Tips for Fashion Blogger' As a fashion marketing student myself, all I can say that I have learnt 10% from the class, and 90% of the real experience. The truth is there are many SEO tips and tricks emerging this year such as mobile friendly etc, however, I would love to share only the factors which work for my blog, The Equinox Fashion because I believe that we, bloggers can apply the tips by ourselves without spending a lot of money for others to do for us.

What Do I Really Think about Master Degree in Fashion Marketing Management

My friend "I am really considering about doing master in fashion"

Me "From my experience, you had better think about it 10 times before making a decision"

Some of you may know that I am currently doing master degree in International Fashion Marketing Management in Manchester, United Kingdom, while blogging for The Equinox Fashion and doing part-time at modeling agency. However, do you really think that the words 'Master Degree' would really affect in my life?

Some people do master for education, while some do for social status. Personally, I have no idea why I am doing this for Lol To be honest, I have learnt wide variety of things in terms of financial, marketing strategies and organization etc but I have never thought that having master degree would make me more clever or better than anybody out there. It's not like "OMG MASTER DEGREE F*** THE WORLD!!!! <--Not at all!

Even though my thinking process seems to be more logically and more business like, I am still the same person who keeps The Equinox Fashion going in everyday. To have the word 'MA' written on your resume is obviously making your profile stand out, but of course it comes with higher expectation and stress since the companies will absolutely want the best out of you. I am come from the country where people judge each other from education, and you know what, it makes me feel disgusted!

I am the person who feels irritated when working with people who don't know how to work, but i have never judged them. Especially, in these days people can have master degree easily if they have money. It sounds harsh, but I don't really think that you need to have master degree if you want to work in this industry. Why? It is all about ''EXPERIENCE" I have been working in this industry for 3 to 4 years, and I keep asking myself "why the hell I am doing master for?..." I am suffering myself by trying to finish assignments which don't really make senses to me. If you can't work, if you don't have skills when applying for jobs, then what are you even doing here?

Anyway, the show must go on right? I need to accomplish this degree for my sake, as well as, to make my parents proud. They expect a lot in me and it took me ages to prove to my mom that blogging is my dream job. My mom didn't understand what this blogosphere would impact my life since she considered it as a hobby. She kinda old school you know, she wants me to settle down with a full-time job in a big organization etc. However, now I quite happy that she is more opening to what I am doing :) So, mom this Master Degree, I am doing for you.
