It is that time of the year when family gets together. People fly across the world just to see their beloved family members once in a while. No wonder why the economy always rises up, especially in December. I have seen a lot of 'Christmas Gift Idea' posts recently. We all have got many choices to spend for others, but what about ourselves? Some might have already bought something for themselves, but for those who haven't, here are some of what I usually do or treat myself in the festive season like this.
1.) SPA DAY IS GOOD FOR BODY AND SOUL
I love aromatherapy and oil massage, so a spa day is a must. Some of you may know that I really love to go for a foot massage because it just makes me feel so relaxed! Not only there are lots of massage/spa places in Bangkok, Thailand, but it can be the hours that I can be with myself the most. The hours of calm, nothing but the light aroma scent.
2.) NEW CLOTHES ALWAYS BE A GOOD IDEA
It is so normal to buy the 'new-in' not just for Christmas, but other seasons also right? Apart from buying online, going to the actual stores is a good reason to just get away from everything too(is it just me?) Though it is Winter in Bangkok, the weather is not for a jacket, or faux fur coat like those years when I was a Manchester fashion blogger. As a result, I still need clothes for everyday lifestyle. My favourite choices are Uniqlo, Esprit, and Muji. I have been obsessed with Japanese brands lately because the quality is just 10/10. However, Esprit is the brand I can find the simplicity of the design, which I can play with other items of the wardrobe. Actually, the skincare of Muji is really good too!
3.) LUXURY DINING FOR A NIGHT
As a fashion blogger for The Equinox Fashion, I also have the 'food review' section, which I have reviewed what I eat. Why luxury? Because, I just want to feel like a high-end special customer for a day. I am not really picky about where I eat, but with the 5 star service in a posh restaurant, so why not? It can be the night when I can just dress up like a date night, and just pamper myself with a great food and a glass of wine. For once in while, so....

Hmm, I think I tend to do a face mask or paint my toe nails, to give myself something. Though I have also been eying off a couple of summery dresses! haha. We will see if I have a budget for those!

It is definitely that time of the year when we are just too busy to think about ourselves! It's always good to stop and take some time though, so thanks for the reminder.. might have to book myself in to the day spa this week!
