2016, I cared way TOO MUCH about what others were thinking about me. It was such a waste of time, like I spent so much energy trying to figure out why... Why people unfollowed me on Instagram? Why certain people didn't treat me the way I treated them? Why some of my friends never congratulated my success? These questions were seriously shit to be honest...We all have different resolutions this year, but if you ask what is mine? Frankly, 'not to give A F' is the answer. Why you should have the same goal as mine? Because it can make you feel so weightless and happy about life even more.
REASONS WHY GIVING A F*** ABOUT EVERY THING CAN GET YOU OFF GUARD
Once you are getting deeper in your thoughts, I would call a 'crisis moment' Look no further and take my example. I don't know if you are the same, but I am a very caring person. When someone judge me, or give me some negative comments, I tend to repeat them more than 10 times a day. Seriously, I look calm & cool, but deep down I have a lot of questions in my head. And it is not good at all, because it only keeps me off guard. I think human-being is similar to one another anyway. When you let someone's words inside your head, you will never be able to get rid of it. Not just once, but you will start concerning about everything else. Especially, on the social media like Instagram, most of the bloggers I know tend to have a break as claimed that they just can't take it anymore. It is fun if you use the platform for killing time or connect with friends, but for those who take it seriously (like me) That is when the tension occurs.
Only 30% of people whom I met are the type of carefree, and I am so jealous!
HOW TO STOP THINKING ABOUT IT!
It sounds easier than done, yet it works! Though, it may take time to master the IDGAF attitude, it is worth to practice. You can't tell others to think or talk shit about you because there are both who like and dislike you. "Hey you can't tell ne that I look horrible!" <-- You can't control others, remind yourself this. Trust me, 1 dislike button on my YouTube channel got me frustrated all day haha....However, you are the only one who can stop it before it gets worse. You are the owner of emotions and thoughts, so you know how to stop going crazy in less than 5 seconds. ''STOP RIGHT NOW'' is what I tell myself every time I am about to get crazy. What if it doesn't work? Try to distract yourself by doing something else.
Ask yourself if the person who get you obsessed about the comments worth the time? Is he your boyfriend? Someone you love? Do they pay for your school? Do they take care of you? If not, then just don't give a f*** You don't deserve it, and they are not worth your time at all. Your time is precious, so you don't need to waste your time on those who do not deserve it. You know life is too short, and everyday is the new day. So, why dwelling in the past?
