Botanical Garden, Chiang Mai, Thailand
This place was so magical, perfect for the city getaway in Thailand. It took me about 1 hour and a bit to fly from Bangkok to Chiang Mai with Thai Airways. Normally, I do not really get out from BKK that often due to the personal reason (s). Just to think about being in a mountain gets me tired already. However, I really needed a vacay like I had never felt before. I worked really hard, especially in November and December. So, off we went Chiang Mai, the perfect workaholic rehab started right here. Which was my most recommended place to go while travelling in Chiang Mai? The Botanical Garden was the A-listed.
Looking for the perfect place to do the #OOTD photos? Speaking as a fashion blogger, this might be the right place if you have a chance to visit Chiang Mai, Thailand! No need to migrate to LA, just to get the big cacti vibe, because the North of this land of smile has got that prepared already. All of these beauties were decorated and showcased in a massive glasshouse style where the visitors can walk through. Actually, I could literally spend an hour inside, because it was truly amazing. I had always dreamed about going to California and did the photo shoot with these pretty things in the background. Luckily, I didn't even have to spend $$$ anymore, since I just found exactly what I wanted.
This garden's quite big, I spent probably 5 hours driving and walking around. There were many spots, where I couldn't just walk (it's a mountain girl!) So, getting a car may be the best choice if you want to visit. All of the plants were separated into many groups, and the map would guide where you want to go first. However, the glasshouse is one of the most popular spots. Therefore, some may drive all the way to this location first.
Not only it was good for my health, but the soul also. After the workload that got me the office syndrome and emotional breakdown, this trip was what I wanted. In Bangkok, there are only buildings and buildings, most of Bangkokians are about to suffocate from the air pollution just like China (not as bad). Hence, if you want the fresh air with a view, just fly up North. However, if you want to experience the city life, then stay in this crazy capital and you will love it just like I do!
