What is Detoxifying Soap?

What is detoxifying soap? Or have you ever used any detoxifying products? Well, from what I understand is that "Detox" is how the skin is cleansed deeply... And actually, I was sent a detoxifying soap by Thai based brand, DERMUM, the Pure Natural Product. So, I would love to share with you how I have been getting on with it.

Most of the products The Equinox Fashion have tried for Beauty & Spa are both "organic and natural items" And DERMUM is one of them. The first impression was the scent. It's not strong at all, and I didn't really feel the perfume in it at all. Believe it or not, I am allergic to The Body Shop's Facial range (you can read my experience here) . Such strong perfume was too much for my skin. I tended to get many tiny spots on my cheeks every time with this brand...So, no more!

However, this soap produces a little bit of bubble when rubs with the water. Personally, I don't really use the soap as my facial cleanser, because I am afraid that it causes my skin dried. Yet, this detoxifying soap is alright for my skin! I mean, I couldn't feel like my face was stiff, or something like that at all. However, don't forget to rinse off with the cold water. So, your face is still moisturized...( I am a hot water lover...lol) Though, it is recommended to use twice a day, I normally use it at night time only.

I think the ingredients of the soap is very interesting. Not only it contains Pitera, which helps rejuvenate the skin, but also Snail Slime. In fact, the latter ingredient is very popular in Thailand (even Korea too!) The Snail Slime is well known for its effective collagen and elastic boost. It reduces the wrinkles and fine lines of the skin. So, basically, it is like an anti-aging natural protein.

Moreover, there are Vitamin B 12 ( reduces redness & blemish), as well as, Centella Asiatica Extracts, Opuntia Ficus Indica Flower Extracts, and etc. But don't worry, everything is natural. So, it is good for the skin :)

  3. Nice! I have an organic natural soap that my husband gets from a local shop. It's been really nice and I prefer it to the overly perfumed brands.
    This range sounds good too.

  7. such an interesting concept. I will definitely not use that as a facial soap, as I stay away from foamy cleansers, but I think for the body its seems a very good soap.
Btw I also have a similar problem with The scents from Body Shop, I think they really need to do something about their strong scents. The only beauty product that has not make my skin break off from that brand, is the chamomile balm.
    Great review.
