Learn Not to Give a F**** in the Late 20s Crisis

Yep, the crisis is real. I had an argument with my parents about the career as a fashion & travel blogger. I couldn't seem to please my boss in whatever I did, and had no idea how the future would be in the long run. Career, relationship, future, yes, the late 20s crisis happened to me a week ago. It's not fun thinking about the future that we all cannot see, right? And that was how I felt, as I didn't know if I would make it, or end up being with the office job like others. Honestly, I have come too far to turn myself back, which I don't think I am going to do anyway. I had a nightmare for days, I couldn't sleep and simply couldn't stop thinking about these stuff, and just couldn't talk to my parents, because obviously they didn't understand what I have been doing. The best advice I have learnt from myself is to "not give a f*** Believe in myself, and let it flow"

To be honest, I am a girl with a free spirit. I love adventure and I just can't tolerate with the comfort zone. Or the well-known office job like what every normal person does. I can't...I feel like life is more than just 9 am - 5 pm work, go home, and sleep. However, what I have been doing right now is more like a freelancer, which absolutely not stable...But it has given me freedom to live life the way I want

I had a bad headache last week, due to the pressure from my family, which I thought I turned to the frustrated woman. I let my anger and depression controlled my emotions like a bitch, but now I am alright since the day I decided to stop thinking about everything. Somehow, we just can't see what is ahead of us, right? We all feel hesitate either to move forward or to stop. For me, I have decided to let it go and move on. I mean, "you only live once" And I just don't want to regret, or said 'I should have done that' It's a waste of time to live because of the pressure from other people who are not 'you'

I had never thought that I would argue with my family at the age of late 20s, like never ever, but it happened. Those who prefer the safety and stability of life will never understand what it's like to step off the comfort zone. I am not asking my parents to understand, or even other to get me. All I need is a support and those 'can-do attitude' message. After a week of nightmare, thinking about life, marriage, and the so-called future, no more.

I will follow my plan, and strategically play along the story of my life. Somehow, it might make me look like a bad daughter, but this is my life. I know I am being a selfish one here, but I want to give it a try. If I fall, I will be able to learn from that experience and be a stronger person. So, what I am trying to say is

"if you are in the same situation like me, just learn to let go and don't let someone else's voice make a plan for your future. Don't let the society frame your life, or tell you what you should be doing. You are the masterpiece of yourself, and you can do anything. If others don't believe in you, I do

  3. I couldn't agree more with what you said in the post and I can totally relate to it. I feel like families, especially Thais will have their own 'high' expectations and plans for us rather than allowing us to live our own life. But you have definitely got the right mindset by doing what your life gives you and what your heart wants. At the end of the day, the life is yours and you can choose to live it th way you want :)

I totally get how taking a role as fashion/lifestyle blogger seems to be unconventional way in Thailand. But we cant change who we are. Something is not right, we will always questions the alternative ending if we choose the conventional ways. You got so much to offer to the world sis! Keep believing in urself and follow ur gut like u always do. Keep hanging in there longer, and be patient :) Caz this is a long race, not a short one. I'll be here fighting beside you also <3

  24. I totally understand. I do get a lot of pressure too because a lot of people don't think what we do is considered a career. I understand that they are simply worried about us though.
