Event: After Dark

The continuation from "The Equinox Fashion at Dr. Martens Manchester Arndale" last week, I attended 'After Dark' hosted by Manchester Arndale in order to participate in bloggers' party dresses showcase. There were approximately 23ish bloggers who joined the night, however, only 10 dresses were selected to be displayed on the window of the Arndale. I hadn't expect to be in the top ten but..I made it! Everything always goes beyond my expectation tbh.

On November 27th 2014, I arrived at Arndale House about 7ish pm then I went straight to the event which was at the 10th floor. I saw so many bloggers excited about their selections that were beautifully prepared with the name tags on, however, what made me even stoked was that I saw one of the muas who was once played the magic on my face during the photo shoot with Get The Label. Obviously, I couldn't be happier because she knows what I like "Very dark smoky eyes and dark lipstick"

Like I said in the previous post that I got Dr.Martens's dress for the event which sounded so coincident(But I believe it's because of the law of attraction) I wore Dr.Martens from top to toe. Surprisingly, even the heels also belong to Dr.Martens so I was extremely happy about it since I am street fashion blogger and I was wearing one of the renowned street brands I love. I really didn't care if I was going to be in the top ten or not because I just wanted to represent the brand in my style, and that's why I was there for.

Pre AW 2014 Look x Yesfor

My "Pre Autumn/Winter 2014 Look" is still going to be a signature outfit consisting of black and white colours. I have been playing with those fun palettes for several times, and I really love the fact that those colours play such an important role in boosting my characteristic to be more cheerful and lively for this Summer. However, time goes by really fast and now we are reaching September (Can you believe this!?) Now it's time for my heart to eagerly call "monochrome" back.

Some people say "white is the new black" But for me "Black is the new black" because it is the right colour which is really versatile. I always mix and match my streeet style look with black pieces because I feel more confident with it. Besides, I love how contrast it can be when toying such colour with neon or super bright tones together. Obviously, my ombre hair is brightened by black outfit!

Just like this look which I am wearing a faux rabbit hair coat provided from Yesfor.com. I was contacted by the marketing team in order to select some products to feature on The Equinox Fashion. There are wide variety of options that I wanted to style with, but eventually I went for this gorgeous coat and short dress instead. I love the fact that this item really goes well with my split skirt purchased from Missguided and Monday top I bought from random shop located in Siam Square, Bangkok, Thailand. I actually love shopping at street fashion market though because I think a broad range of items offered are more interesting than some of those sold at well known high-street shops. Personally, I don't think it is necessary to show others how much you spend money on your clothes as long as the outfit represents your style. Some people try too hard to be in fashion industry by paying much money on clothes and end up going nowhere. In my opinion, I think this is not really a smart choice to be consumed by such temptation.

Summer Sweetness

It is very rare to see me wearing such sweet skirt and pink crop top like this, however, I just want to give it a shot and bring the other side which called "Feminine" out of me.

It looks so odd but yes I am wearing skirt! And obviously it's not my usual signature black one (aren't you surprised!?) In the previous post, I mentioned that I felt uncomfortable when wearing something too womanly because somehow it triggers my insecure inside. Anyway, I just feel like giving it a try so that I can see myself in such "girly" look. Truthfully, I do admire bloggers and people whose outfits represent their soft and charming characters because personally I can't pull off a maxi skirt or crocheted tank-top without any single black piece in the same look.

This summer sweetness look's provided by Taberou Clothing, the brand which I have collaborated with several times. I always mix&match their uber cool high-quality leggings with over-sized tank/tee and favourite masculine boots. Surprisingly, something needs to be changed and that's the reason why I eventually pair the printed skirt with pinkish crop top that I designed for myself. Moreover, it's a proper time to put my wedges on since the last time I wore high-heel almost two years ago. It's good to put them back but I don't know how some women can wear those heels all day without experiencing a pain in their feet. I guess, I need to find a way to getting used to it (one day).

Apart from a day dreamy look with holographic skirt I paired with Catseye London midyear 2014 collection a few weeks ago, I pretty adore this look though it looks a bit different for me as I looked at the reflection of myself in the mirror this morning. The giant cupcake crop top gives me a cheerful and lively feeling of the sunny weather yet the skirt is a great catalyst for my inner sweetness (which gladly I still have it lol)

Bomber Jacket x Little By Little

Do you like a "bomber jacket"? Obviously, anything masculine or tomboyish clothes are my fave!

First of all, I have to say thank you to "Little By Little" UK based independent fashion label who sent me this white/pink lovely bomber jacket which so far has become one of my preferable items in the wardrobes. Actually, there are two colours; white/yellow and white/pink, but I decided to go with this pretty pink one since I think it would be a great match with my other street style clothes.

This look, I paired the bomber jacket with high-waist denim which I purchased from some random shop in Bangkok, Thailand and it costed only 10 pounds. This is why I LOVE Asia! Because you can find so many cool stuff with reasonable price or even cheaper! Besides, those clothes I have bought are even more interesting than some shops in London. That's why I always find such cool boutiques outside the capital city.

Apart from the collaboration with Little By Little, I had an opportunity to attend the fashion event hosted by Marie Claire previous Saturday at Hilton, Bangkok. It was such a lovely time to be there, included the part of me and my gay friend were being silly in the lounge with free drinks lol FYI, foods and drinks provided at the events are so yum! Even though I love eating, it doesn't mean that I take part in the events just for food lol Let's say, it's more relaxing to be surrounded by great people with good food :D

I will update more about the events, also the NIKE FC party in the next post!

Summer with My Denim on

Street style's summer outfit

Woooo!!!! it's super duper hot in Bangkok, Thailand at the moment. Well it is supposed to be rainy season, however, I think global warming has taken a big role recently. Never mind, I keep telling myself that "Keep calm and listen to HAIM

If you follow me on The Equinox Fashion's Instagram or Facebook, you will notice that I'm taking a break in this month. I feel pretty down lately due to stress, work and so on, and that's why I need to recharge myself with movies and anime (yes I love watching anime such as One Piece, Fairy Tail and etc) So hopefully, I'm getting back on track in a couple weeks :') FINGER CROSSED! Especially, Kavita from She Wears Fashion is coming, so I have to be a tour guide for this lovely lady for days. I actually can't wait to explore Bangkok with her!

In this season, I LOVE wearing high-waist jeans so so much! Because they are very versatile to mix&match with wide variety of tank-top (yes! another item which I can't live without in insanely hot weather like this) Moreover, this statement earrings are the other favourite item of the month. They are pretty lightweight actually!

Therefore, this is one of my summer not so summery look with my "high-waist denim" on. I paired it with Pink Floyd sleeveless top purchased from ForeverXXI and TUK creepers. I wish some days I will wear a nice sweet dress for this season, but who knows it may happen (one day):D

And one more thing, I would like to introduce a campaign launched by Raise,a new market place where you can buy discounted gift cards, as well as, sell your unused gift cards for cash including from Nodstrom to DSW. Actually, I got an email from this lovely lady from Raise about this "Closet Swap" which you guys might interested!

"Closet Swap" campaign's launched in order to showcase your summer look including accessories or any patterns or your favourite trends. This campaign will run throughout May and you guys might get a chance to featured on their blog too.

And here is The Equinox Fashion's Summer Outfit.

Hard-working mode!..Nahhh lol

Visit "Pomelo" Headquaters, Online Retail Destination Inspired by Seoul Street Style

The Equinox Fashion at Pomelo Headquaters, Bangkok

On Wednesday, 7th May 2014, I had a great opportunity to visit Pomelo, a stylish, fun, and fashion-forward online brand inspired from "Seoul Street Style" As well as international trends.

Actually, I had heard a lot about this brand before visiting its studio and I myself is one of the fans of this online retail because there are a broad range of trendy pieces to choose! Especially, its latest collection is all about "Sporty with lots of colourful pieces, stripe prints with street style twist and monochrome" Hooray!!!!!!!!!

Obviously, I had so much fun at the studio, and everyone's so friendly! I kept walking round and round, trying on their clothes and getting to know the team. Also, I was there just right in time when they were shooting for the new collection of May. So, it was really great to see those items before they will be published on the website. I think I might get a few pieces for myself though lol I had a bad experience in online shopping for a few times when things I ordered were really in a bad shape. Well they looked totally different from the website, also the fabric was just duhhhhhh...However, I can guarantee that Pomelo's is really great and high-quality since I had a look and touch with the real one not from the screen.

If you want to experience Asian street style, then this brand can be one of the perfect choices! All of the clothes from Pomelo are designed and made in Korea. And there are lots and lots of new stuff pretty much everyday because the selections are sold out very quick. Therefore, you have to check out the website quite often.
