Exclusive MCR Student Night Out with Manchester Arndale & Echo PR

The 2nd MCR student night out was completely different from the one I participated a year ago. In 2014, I joined this night out because I was the M.A. student who was gifted a voucher to buy the products of my choices, however, this time was the whole new level of experience when I was the blogger who exclusively offered a tour by Manchester Arndale, and Manchester's business improvement district, the Heart of Manchester BID. Echo PR was the representative who took me and other girls from Manchester Arndale, to SelfridgesHarvey Nichols, and House of Fraser. The four hours of this tour were totally worth it. We all had a chance to get insight trend reports from Warehouse and Oasis, pampered by The Braid Bar, Makeover by a wide variety of cosmetic brands such as Bobbi Brown. Wanna know what it's like to work with PR? Let's find out.

Firstly, we stopped at the two retailers; Warehouse and Oasis. I had an opportunity to go to Warehouse's HQ in London earlier this year, however, I also had a good time roaming around the store in order to look at AW trend this year, which obviously 70s style. The trend was all about the suede skirt (which I saw a lot of bloggers wore during London Fashion Week this season), and anything retro. Similar to Oasis, Autumn/Winter is all about suede pieces and parkas. MCR Student Night Out could be one of those days when the retailers were be able to make lots of revenues from the customers who willing to spend their money or loan for the advertised products they loved. From what I researched about the customer behaviour, they are the main target of the high-street brands such as Topshop, H&M, River Island, e.t.c. Especially, in the night like this, they were able to get lots of discounts and special offers from a lot of brands.

We all headed to Selfirdges for the real pamper time. Where I got my braids done? 'The Braid Bar' was the answer. I got a beautiful Hennah on my hand, also the frigging' cool hairdo. The Braid Bar's also located at Selfridges&CO London, so you can also get yours done too! I was really satisfied by the result of the service because my hair turned out so dope. We also went up to the menswear, where we had a chance to meet the founder of Private White V.C.(Manchester based brand) whose event I attended last year. Then we went to Harvey Nichols, where Taylor Morris eyewear was. I also met Hugo Taylor ad Charlie Morris, the founders of the brand. Surprisingly, Hugo still remembers me when I mentioned about the online interview a few years ago. Besides, I also took part in the Styling Showdown Competition for a chance to win a budget for spending spree! I styled the model with Kenzo and Valentino heels, which I absolutely adored.

Overall, I really want to say a massive thank you to everyone who made this day happen. Especially, Manchester Arndale who I have worked with several times, as well as, Echo PR who kindly enough to treat all of us bloggers, and press.

Thank you!
