Style Behinds The Equinox Fashion x Margo

Some people ask "What my signature style is?" While some may wonder if my street style is like an alternative music? A combination of masculine with a pop of colours madness? I guess I will let this post answer all of those questions then. In collaboration with Margo, Brazil based brand which sent their 2014 collection products to my door, The Equinox Fashion's outfit styling can't be any easier since this is "my signature style

There are several posts that you guys maybe able to recognize me as Thai street style blogger with monochrome look or sometimes with neon or vibrant palettes mixed, however, it is actually more than that. I pretty much feel comfortable with almost anything as long as it consists of pitch black items, but story behinds those outfits always expresses my mood/inspiration in each day. I am very down to earth and friendly person, yet I do have my own space which defines my boundary. It is not who I am but how the past has created me to be in this way because I have been through so many best and worst situations that I have to keep my guard up all the time. I trusted people easily and always ended up being used for their own benefits, and that's why I have become one of the most paradoxical people in this planet owing to my friendliness and independent attitude. I can say that I might be the person who smile instantly but also the one with don't give a *** mode because I'm here to live my life not to please anyone for satisfaction. I'm not here for fame or famous people to hang out with, I just want to do what I have to do and that's all. It may sound harsh but believe me I can be a trustworthy one even though I don't really talk or act that reachable.

And why I always wear with black, studded jacket or anything similar? Because this is what I feel at ease with. I feel like myself without giving it a shot. I don't really wear in such sweet dress or any girly outfits since they make me feel insecure. I feel like being in pretty outfits sometimes puts me in my own weakness point. The word "pretty" has nothing to do with me but trembling and nervous feelings inside. Well, I don't know why I feel like that..Maybe it is because of my fear created in the past. I was being too kind for people I assume. Therefore, I have chosen to dress up like this which I can call it "my style" And I feel absolutely more confident in this way. "Rock Style" is how it describes me.

Jumpsuit Style with Jessy Bag x Marisara

Jumpsuit- Lizia Mono Tone by Marisara
Bag- Jessy bag by Paul's Boutique
Headpiece- Chewing Gum

Last week, I was still at Lebua at State Tower (Bangkok), a place where HangoverII was filmed. And I wish I didn't have to say goodbye from this spacious yet cozy room! However, let's get back to work and get it going, shall we?

Jumpsuit and I are not really good friend for each other since it always makes my hips look bigger than they usually are! And for some reasons, it's not that convenient in a toilet because I have to unzip and literally need to pull everything from my shoulders down (If you know what I mean) However, I decided to gave it a shot when "Marisara" Thailand based brand contacted me via email that she would love to collaborate with The Equinox Fashion.

I spent quite a while when choosing the clothes in Marisa's website because there are so many interesting designs, and almost all of the clothes are quite feminine and more to casual vibe. "Let's say from smart working woman look to edgy party occasions, everything's already provided!"  And that's why I was a bit hesitating to opt for the best one which suits my street style's signature and practical in daily life. Eventually, I had come across this "Lizia Mono Tone Jumpsuit" that I really like because this well-designed piece is really meticulous and of course it made in my favourite colour (Well 80% of my posts are either monochrome or dark palettes anyway lol) Besides, the owner's generous enough to alter this jumpsuit for me so that it would be perfectly fit. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I matched this jumpsuit with my all time fav "Jessy Bag" sent from Paul's Boutique London. They look pretty good together actually because the chains attached at the bag enhance the outfit to be more prominent. Also, I boosted up the look with this magnificent headpiece sent from Chewing Gum, Portugal based brand which I've collaborated before. If you still remember the outfit post of warrior hand piece I wore with Betty Boop jumper and long skirt by Missguided

I will update about Manchester plan real soon, I will let you know when I'm moving and etc. Hopefully to meet you guys there! Even though I don't have a friendly face, I do really a down to earth one lol

June Favourite Picks : All Black Outfit x Front Row Shop

Dress- Front Row Shop
Bag- Paul's Boutique London
Boots- Wholesaleitonline

On Friday, 6th June 2014, I had a great opportunity to attend NIKE FC party hosted by NIKE Thailand at Asiatique Riverfront, Bangkok, Thailand. However, there was no theme or any specific dress codes at all. So, "Street Style'' was my one and only preferable choice and that's why all black outfit totally clicked with The Equinox Fashion's theme of the night.

Detachable Dress

Detachable Dress sent from Front Row Shop has been one of my most favourite items of all time because I just love its high-quality and chic designed. I have chosen this unique dress from Front Row Shop because it suits me the most. I mean, there are wide variety of selections I would love to opt for or even purchase myself since they are really cool from street fashion options to super cute bags that I just couldn't even decide what to get. Due to the specific budget offered from the team, therefore this "detachable dress" was the one! I can say that I really love this design not only it can be separated but also the fabric's quality is quite far beyond standard from any other shopping online stores. I have collaborated with several online boutiques or even famous one, I can absolutely say that Front Row Shop's quality is better than some of them (10 times better!) This free size faux leather dress is not that thick, and its silhouette is really individual. Perfect for my day!

Jessy Bag

Jessy Bag sent from Paul's Boutique London is another item which I can't live without. If you read my very first outfit post with PB, you may be able to tell that I'm in LOVE with this bag! I don't know, for me this Jessy Bag can be compared to a "chic woman with a rock sensation \m/" I had been looking through the bags provided by PB's team on the website but Jessy Bag's the only one which the idea of rocker chic popped up in my head. I don't buy things just because they are on trend, but how I value depends on how much I can picture myself with them. "Style" is really important to me

Independent Street Style x Taberou Clothing

Wearing my own design by Taberou Clothing

Let's start early June by such vibrant or cheerful outfit, shall we? If you still remember that I worked with Taberou Clothing a few months ago, however, that collaboration's not over yet since our 2nd cooperate is still going on.

But this time, I am wearing "independent" design crop top which I sent the sketch to Taberou Clothing team almost two months ago. I have created two styles of prints; 1) Geometric rose which I'm wearing 2) Lover Cupcake (soon to be posted) Some of you might wonder why I initiated this soft&sweet prints that don't really match with my street style at all, but I guess it's Summer and I just want to try add some more colourful pieces in my wardrobes. Though, I still paired this pinky crop top with black skirt in order to remain The Equinox Fashion signature style.

To be honest, Taberou Clothing is one of my favourite brands which I'm willing to work with. I have talked to some of the team members and they are really down to earth! Personally, working with easy going people is the greatest gift in this industry because I'm pretty chillaxing kind of person, so I'm pretty much getting along with everyone while remaining my guard up all the time (If you know what I mean) Since there are so many types of people you can encounter in fashion industry including the unbelievably good and extremely bitchy one. That's why I feel really grateful to have such a good opportunity to work with this amazing brand :)

Getaway Style x Rock On Ruby

Tee sent from Rock On Ruby

My vacation month's now officially over since it's June and I am back on track with The Equinox Fashion, a blogging sphere which truly meant the world to me.

During May, I spent most of my days planning about blog's strategies, as well as, personal branding. I have so many ideas going on in my head right now, however, I would rather take it step by step before I'm gonna be suffocated by my own thoughts. I can absolutely say that I work constantly every single day, and that one of the factors that I was sent to the hospital due to panic attack a week ago. I hadn't realized that deep down I was really pressuring myself, or unconsciously stressing 24/7 until the day I couldn't catch my breath for probably 5 to 10 minutes. Of course, I was terrified since it had never happened to me before. Therefore, my best advice is to loosen up yet stabilize my productive brain. I wonder how!? lol

Anyway, yesterday I received a super cool tee sent from British brand called "Rock On Ruby" which surprisingly sent to me all the way to Bangkok, Thailand. I was extremely happy because there's my blog name "@thequinoxfashion" screened on top! Who wouldn't love it!? So, I didn't even hesitate to wear this in the next day at all because you have no idea how much this tee mean to me. I mixed and matched this Rock On Ruby's tee with my DIY short jeans and 2D bag purchased from Siam Square. I wanted the look to be the comfiest since it is still Summer in Bangkok, and the weather is incredibly boiling days by days.

Sending big hug to Rock On Ruby team, also the comments in the previous post! I read all of them, and I do appreciate your thoughts so much. I wouldn't be here without you guys, so again "Thank you very much!"

Innovative Designs x Chewing Gum

The Equinox Fashion with Chewing Gum's hand piece

From Lisbon to Bangkok, Thailand The Equinox Fashion had a really great opportunity to collaborate with "Chewing Gum" Exclusive brand with unique and innovative hand made accessories. There are a broad range of designs that I really LOVE because all of them look very stunning, I mean their accessories are just different from any other brands I have come across, especially they have made the way to feature in The Voice Portugal too!

The piece I'm wearing at the moment reminds me of the vibe of masculine warrior, so I didn't even hesitate to inform the designer that I would love to feature this one in my own street style, as well as another head piece provided.

My Chewing Gum posted in Instagram

Talking about Portugal, I have never been there at all but since I received this amazing package from Chewing Gum, as well as travelling blogs I read, I extremely want to go backpacking again. As my 2014 goal is to explore fashion industry in other countries, and meet as many bloggers as I can. So far, I have met loads of bloggers based in Bangkok or even those who travelling here. And if you follow me on the Instagram or Facebook Page, The Equinox Fashion will be a blogger based in Manchester this year since I will be studying Fashion Marketing (MA) at Manchester Metropolitan University. Pretty stoked and nervous actually since I rarely know anybody there! However, big thank you to some fashion bloggers who sent me such useful tips, also guideline in the city <3

So, I am really looking forward to meeting you guys out there.

And thank you so much Chewing Gum! You are the best!

My Street Style Jessy Black x Paul's Boutique

Personally, a bag is one of the items which I am willing to invest my money on because all I have been looking for is its "durability" Unlike clothes that can be purchased over and over, bag is an exceptional treasure for a street fashion blogger like me.

Normally, I spend money in buying a bag which I think it's gonna last long because I don't like the idea of changing it in 3 or 8 months since I love how vintage it looks. I know it sounds weird but I don't like to carry the trendy bag or the one that everyone obsesses about. If you purchase the same pinky design like everyone else, then where's your character? I know I can be super picky one lol. I don't really use a clutch except for events or parties, so all I need is a "big, chic and durable" one because I have to go outside, meeting people and working on my duty, so I just need something that I can put every single thing in just one place.

However, I received my life-saver "Jessy Black" bag sent from Paul's Boutique London a few weeks ago, and it has been a great help like personal assistance since then. It's not merely Jessy Black I heart for, I have had a big crush in the brand for a long time. "Inspired by diversities of styles, music, cultural and attitudes existing in the fast moving city", Pauls' Boutique has gained a massive craze among fashionable young Londoners who seeking for "Bold unapologetic designs" If you have a chance to read about the brand's history, as well as, the owner's, you can see a "wow" factor in it. Paul's Boutique has received a huge success after the launch of its handbag line, also you are able to find all these amazing bags in Topshop's flagship Oxford Circus store too.

There are so many selections I like, but my most favourite seems to be this massive Jessy Black. It can be a little bit heavy, but compared to its capacity and space where you can put everything inside, then I would say it is a "must have" item. If your favourite colour is black, contrasted with golden chains, then this can be a perfect match for you.

I love rock/electronica music, therefore this is the look which I styled with Paul's Boutique bag a week ago.

Thank you Paul and the team so much!!! Hopefully, I will see you in London in September :)
