Moving Experience x Majiquelondon

Some of you may know that I have recently just settled down in Manchester, United Kingdom. Yes moving again! I was originally born in Bangkok, Thailand but my life is all about travelling when I was a kid but "moving" as in the age of 20s. From Bangkok to Chicago to London and now Manchester. I have been working my *** off just to save some money in order to accomplish on something worth a life time.

Working from being an English Tutor to Sandwich maker at Dunkin's Donut, now I have been working as a full-time street fashion blogger for The Equinox Fashion for 3 years. Also, I have just enrolled MA: International Fashion Marketing Management so that I can finally finish my master degree. My life right now can be compared to the boiling pot which mixed with many ingredients. I have many responsibilities to take care of not only just working on my website, but also taking my education to the next level. However, I believe that whatever I am doing right now is defo gonna worth eventually. I arrived London two weeks ago, but just came to Manchester almost a week ago. Therefore, supermarket is what I call the 2nd home lol There are so many things I need to buy, as well as, ingredients to cook. You know how hard it is to move to another city (or even another country for me!) when you barely know anyone. It has been tiring days but I guess this is what the meaning of moving.

After London Fashion Week I attended, now let's get the game of Manchester begin. For these five weeks, "Majique London'' is taking over the posts of The Equinox Fashion completely. According to the network of The Blogger Programme, a platform which allows bloggers/publishers to connect with brands, that's how I could get in touch with Majique London.

I have received loads of beautiful items I chose from Majique London, however, my looks are still going to be my streetstyle signature. I love the combination of cool street fashion and statement necklaces or any other accessories. It is all about how you mix&match what you've already possessed to be your own style. Every time I received an email about collaboration, I always have to make sure that those products are not gonna be a waste since some people only say yes to the brands just to be featured with them. And I don't want that to happen because it is not what The Equinox Fashion's been created.

Star Wars

It has been raining in Bangkok, Thailand almost everyday but fortunately the sky is still cheerful as always. That's why I wish I wouldn't have to leave this beautiful place known as my mother land. However, Manchester is coming real soon, or even too soon to prepare everything just right in time! I have several errands to do and rarely go shopping anywhere because every single minute is counted. Therefore, I forced myself to be free from work just to stop by at H&M in order to pick some new goodies for my wardrobes. It has been a while since the last time I spent my money in such store, so this Star Wars top's definitely worth it.

80% of my time at H&M, I always merge myself with over-sized clothes at menswear's section because I love wearing L or XL or even XXL for The Equinox Fashion. Personally, I feel more positively and extremely comfy than anything tight like bodycon dresses. If you notice, I have never shown my haul or anything like those at all.

I guess my selections are just too tomboyish to be seen...lol

For example, the Star Wars (Size L) is what I picked from random rack which placed at the back of the shop. Normally, I am kind of picky but I can be a fast shopper if nothing really interesting. I was really bored at first because there's nothing to wear. That's right girls' favourite quote "There's nothing to wear" Especially for a picky one like me. Wandering around H&M when only a few streetwear clothes provided can be a little bit frustrating. I had looked and walked and repeated such behavior around the store for probably 10 minutes until I found the Star Wars hung in the middle of nowhere. I grabbed and looked and walked to the cashier right away because I thought this's the treasure of the day!

For me, shopping at mass production stores is very convenient because you can choose whatever you fond of but sometimes dressing like or being like any others is not gonna pick you out from the crowd. Still remember that you can make a difference by styling in your own signature look.

To Manchester x Rock On Ruby

From Bangkok to Florida, Chicago, London, Kathmandu, California and etc These cities have unquestionably taught me how to appreciate life and living things because my life itself is not merely about street fashion but music and travelling as well. In other words, these factors make me feel alive.

Some of you may perceive that I am moving to Manchester, United Kingdom in September and will be a blogger based, also study international fashion marketing management for my Master Degree for a year. It is definitely not the 1st time moving, but it is my very first stage of "moving alone" And the fact that I am still not getting used to British accent&culture that much. I lived in United States before but I had friends to support me, or in fact my life didn't even have such assertive purposes in those days. So, life was pretty smooth and fun during the verge of becoming a pre-adulthood. However, why Manchester not London this time?

Actually, I love city life, I love being inspired, I love living in massive cities like New York or Chicago, but the characters within Manchester can fulfill my needs in street fashionMoreover, my goal is to do something with fashion in town, so I absolutely need to discover and do things as many as I possibly can. Even though, its size is not that big compared to where I have been before, it still a good option to give it a shot. Some people even said to me "Oh! why you have to go there? What are you gonna do with fashion in such city like that? People are so rude, the city is dirty blah blah blah" But if you are a city girl, you will understand the way of life in a big city. And I love it like that. Well, if you live in Chicago before, that means you have passed the test of risking your life in such a dangerous city (Still wanna go back though lol) Especially, going solo will be an extremely risky yet interesting experience.

Am I nervous? Yes, of course! But i don't really give a S*** about it that much. I know my feelings, and I let them stay there without having any influences on my track. Plus, America has taught me so well of how to be strong and handle unexpected situations. This story sounds like a movie but it really an actual "based on my true story"

"I had never expected to sit on the pavement of the street just to wait for a random transportation to go back home but it happened in Orlando, Florida 6 years ago. I got on a bus to go to another town which I had to do something with my paper work, unfortunately I was informed that I came to the wrong place. OMFG! It took me an hour on the bus just to get here and breath for 5 minutes! So, I had to catch another ride to go back home. However, it wasn't that easy since there weren't any buses...lol I had a phone but i didn't know who to call because I had just arrived Orlando a day before. I tried to go from stores to stores in order to ask for help but few people speaking English because they were Spanish. At the end of the day, I sat on the street and waited for luck to come. I was really scared though because I didn't even know if I would be able to make it home. Think about the movie scene of Hangover or anything that the characters have to hitchhike strangers' cars. Oh yea, I was so lucky to experience such a movie scene like that! Finally, the bus came in hour later which means I could finally catch it to downtown....:)"

What I am trying to say is going abroad can be fun and pain in the same time. However, it can be a great moment of your life. Eventually, you will have a story to tell your kids in the future of what you've been through.

See you in a bit Manchester <3

Blogging Motivation x Retrogue/Pauls's Boutique

In this summer, tropical palm trees, pineapples, such these summery prints seem to be really on trend among us due to the popularity of Instagram pictures I have come across these days. From online shopping websites to famous retail stores in several malls, they mostly provide the tropical vibe selections to fulfill their favourite shoppers in the season like this. To be honest, I had obsessed with those delightful prints for a while until I realized that at the end of the day, my Instagram photo's just going to look like theirs. Actually, the purpose of The Equinox Fashion is not only for (re)introduce or collaborate with street fashion brands/designers or online shopping destinations but small and local boutiques are what this blog specially aims to present as well because their clothes are even matching with my street style signature. Like I mentioned in this post that I'm not intending to be here in order to show how many brands I have worked with or famous people I have hung out with, but only my passion to street fashion.

I love wandering around town, taking photos and appreciating the "now" moment. Therefore, my character is quite easy-going. However, I can be a really picky yet independent working woman. Truth is, I had explored in the fashion industry for a while til I knew what my blog's finally going to turn out. I'm only 5'2'' (are you surprised!?) with little physical attractiveness and don't have such confident to pull off a pink lipstick like everybody else. That is why I choose to bring out my inner self and fuse with The Equinox Fashion in order to be my "signature" instead.

Talking about the brands' collaborations, I honestly grateful to have an opportunity to work with them. Believe it or not, I have attached their name cards or even tiny postcards written by designers/boutique owners in my personal working scrapbook (Yes, I use scrapbook as a schedule and marketing planning lol) And from my experience, I would rather suggest you guys that "please choose to work with brands only if they are good to go with your style" Because personally I feel more confident with the outfit styling, as well as, the quality of the content. I know that there are wide variety of online sources to contact or work with brands, however, there's no need to rush. Acceptance and rejection are normal since there's gonna be brands who appreciate and love your style while some might say no because you don't have a certain amount of followers they have expected. Don't discourage yourself by comparing your followers to others' and don't give up! I have a strong belief "If you keep doing it no matter how long it takes, there's gotta be the way to make it happen" Have you ever heard of Laws of Attraction? or the quote said "When one door closes, another seems to open"? This is pretty much work for me.

Just ignore those negative believers, and focus on your heart. A girl who resigned from secure full-time job and started everything from the beginning like me can do it, so why can't you?

**Thank you for this outfit provided in the collaboration of pom pom playsuit sent from Retrogue and Jessy Bag from Paul's Boutique.

Style Behinds The Equinox Fashion x Margo

Some people ask "What my signature style is?" While some may wonder if my street style is like an alternative music? A combination of masculine with a pop of colours madness? I guess I will let this post answer all of those questions then. In collaboration with Margo, Brazil based brand which sent their 2014 collection products to my door, The Equinox Fashion's outfit styling can't be any easier since this is "my signature style

There are several posts that you guys maybe able to recognize me as Thai street style blogger with monochrome look or sometimes with neon or vibrant palettes mixed, however, it is actually more than that. I pretty much feel comfortable with almost anything as long as it consists of pitch black items, but story behinds those outfits always expresses my mood/inspiration in each day. I am very down to earth and friendly person, yet I do have my own space which defines my boundary. It is not who I am but how the past has created me to be in this way because I have been through so many best and worst situations that I have to keep my guard up all the time. I trusted people easily and always ended up being used for their own benefits, and that's why I have become one of the most paradoxical people in this planet owing to my friendliness and independent attitude. I can say that I might be the person who smile instantly but also the one with don't give a *** mode because I'm here to live my life not to please anyone for satisfaction. I'm not here for fame or famous people to hang out with, I just want to do what I have to do and that's all. It may sound harsh but believe me I can be a trustworthy one even though I don't really talk or act that reachable.

And why I always wear with black, studded jacket or anything similar? Because this is what I feel at ease with. I feel like myself without giving it a shot. I don't really wear in such sweet dress or any girly outfits since they make me feel insecure. I feel like being in pretty outfits sometimes puts me in my own weakness point. The word "pretty" has nothing to do with me but trembling and nervous feelings inside. Well, I don't know why I feel like that..Maybe it is because of my fear created in the past. I was being too kind for people I assume. Therefore, I have chosen to dress up like this which I can call it "my style" And I feel absolutely more confident in this way. "Rock Style" is how it describes me.

90s Vibe Street Style because I'm a 90s Kid

Backstreet Boys, Busted, Natalie Imbruglia, Tamagotchis (original version) Polly Pocket, Troll Dolls and Sky Dancer, all remind me of old time memories of my childhood (If you know what I'm talking about)

That's right I was born in 1989, a period of boy bands like Nsync, A1, Boyzone or a time to buy wide variety of polly pockets provided in many version included Disney's or little family one. I remembered convincing my mom to buy a cassette of Atomic Kittens for an upcoming birthday for myself though lol However, everything seems to change a lot these days. Technology and innovative development in nowadays are playing an important yet massive role in shifting the lifestyle of kids in a modern day. When I was really young, I went out camping with friends, compared to kids in 2014 who own Iphone and other gadgets. I bought my very first Motorola (Black&White screen) when I was like 13! So, no wonder why I didn't feel hesitate to buy this "90's Kid" tank-top from H&M at all because I just wanted something that represents the era of my youth. Especially, this can be a great pairing for The Equinox Fashion's street style

I matched this 90's kid fringe tank-top with high-waist pants and black fringe bag which purchased from H&M also.

My Street Style Jessy Black x Paul's Boutique

Personally, a bag is one of the items which I am willing to invest my money on because all I have been looking for is its "durability" Unlike clothes that can be purchased over and over, bag is an exceptional treasure for a street fashion blogger like me.

Normally, I spend money in buying a bag which I think it's gonna last long because I don't like the idea of changing it in 3 or 8 months since I love how vintage it looks. I know it sounds weird but I don't like to carry the trendy bag or the one that everyone obsesses about. If you purchase the same pinky design like everyone else, then where's your character? I know I can be super picky one lol. I don't really use a clutch except for events or parties, so all I need is a "big, chic and durable" one because I have to go outside, meeting people and working on my duty, so I just need something that I can put every single thing in just one place.

However, I received my life-saver "Jessy Black" bag sent from Paul's Boutique London a few weeks ago, and it has been a great help like personal assistance since then. It's not merely Jessy Black I heart for, I have had a big crush in the brand for a long time. "Inspired by diversities of styles, music, cultural and attitudes existing in the fast moving city", Pauls' Boutique has gained a massive craze among fashionable young Londoners who seeking for "Bold unapologetic designs" If you have a chance to read about the brand's history, as well as, the owner's, you can see a "wow" factor in it. Paul's Boutique has received a huge success after the launch of its handbag line, also you are able to find all these amazing bags in Topshop's flagship Oxford Circus store too.

There are so many selections I like, but my most favourite seems to be this massive Jessy Black. It can be a little bit heavy, but compared to its capacity and space where you can put everything inside, then I would say it is a "must have" item. If your favourite colour is black, contrasted with golden chains, then this can be a perfect match for you.

I love rock/electronica music, therefore this is the look which I styled with Paul's Boutique bag a week ago.

Thank you Paul and the team so much!!! Hopefully, I will see you in London in September :)
