I Don't Have any Style Icons in Fashion

It has been a few years in this blogging journey and I feel appreciate about everything I have done in every activity including being a volunteer or doing a photo shoot with other fashion bloggers, however, I still don't have any style icons in fashion industry. 

Last year, I remembered saying "I don't have any specific styles or favourite stars in this industry since I always inspired by music" 

Yesterday, I was asked if I had ever been influenced by any of my friends or culture, my answer's still "No, I don't even feel like I can be influenced by anyone when the only thing that triggers me is 'music'"

I actually mean it when I said that because I can maintain my personal branding as a street fashion blogger, not being changed by what society expects. It's like you know some people are easily influenced by what others are wearing and eventually they have merged themselves into the mainstream of the fashion trend. However, it's not going to drive us anywhere if we are wearing the same products, or have similar style like others.

Actually, it is like a weird feeling to be in this industry without the style icon like everybody else. I browse online and see what other people wear, or even read the article about the red carpet's fashion, however, I still feel like it doesn't suit me anyway. It is true that we all have to adapt the trend to be in our own styles, but sometimes it doesn't work that way because whatever that doesn't work is still going not to work. I have seen many celebrities or fashion bloggers wear flares or 70s vibe clothing pieces lately, and I think they look chic and beautiful, but such fashion style will never work on me since I am too short to wear flares LOL. Besides, my style is a street style and I don't want to be 70s trendy girl when I feel the most comfort in my own look. 

So what kind of music that inspires me? 

I love rock music *smile* but lately I have been into electronica tune. It always motivates me to go to my wardrobes and bring out the best in me. Well, my favourite artists or Djs are varied, but mostly I listen to Skrillex, Prodigy and Nicky Romero. I don't really listen to pop music or mainstream that much since I get bored easily. Honestly, I also listen to Beatles too :)

Style Behinds The Equinox Fashion x Margo

Some people ask "What my signature style is?" While some may wonder if my street style is like an alternative music? A combination of masculine with a pop of colours madness? I guess I will let this post answer all of those questions then. In collaboration with Margo, Brazil based brand which sent their 2014 collection products to my door, The Equinox Fashion's outfit styling can't be any easier since this is "my signature style" 

There are several posts that you guys maybe able to recognize me as Thai street style blogger with monochrome look or sometimes with neon or vibrant palettes mixed, however, it is actually more than that. I pretty much feel comfortable with almost anything as long as it consists of pitch black items, but story behinds those outfits always expresses my mood/inspiration in each day. I am very down to earth and friendly person, yet I do have my own space which defines my boundary. It is not who I am but how the past has created me to be in this way because I have been through so many best and worst situations that I have to keep my guard up all the time. I trusted people easily and always ended up being used for their own benefits, and that's why I have become one of the most paradoxical people in this planet owing to my friendliness and independent attitude. I can say that I might be the person who smile instantly but also the one with don't give a *** mode because I'm here to live my life not to please anyone for satisfaction. I'm not here for fame or famous people to hang out with, I just want to do what I have to do and that's all. It may sound harsh but believe me I can be a trustworthy one even though I don't really talk or act that reachable. 

And why I always wear with black, studded jacket or anything similar? Because this is what I feel at ease with. I feel like myself without giving it a shot. I don't really wear in such sweet dress or any girly outfits since they make me feel insecure. I feel like being in pretty outfits sometimes puts me in my own weakness point. The word "pretty" has nothing to do with me but trembling and nervous feelings inside. Well, I don't know why I feel like that..Maybe it is because of my fear created in the past. I was being too kind for people I assume. Therefore, I have chosen to dress up like this which I can call it "my style" And I feel absolutely more confident in this way. "Rock Style" is how it describes me.

DIY Phone Case x God It Feels So Good

This post is all going to be about "D.I.Y" or do it yourself items including my ombre hair, choker and Samsung's phone case which belongs to the collaboration of The Equinox Fashion x God It Feels So Good, handmade phone cases by Christina. 

The phone cases made by Christina or the girl behind God It Feels So Good are very lovely! There are wide variety of selections to opt for, especially if you fancy about Japanese vibe kinda things then such kawaii products from GIFSG can be one of the shops which literally just going to melt your heart. Ooooh sounds so girly, yet street fashion blogger like me also fond of. I couldn't add any more heart melted colours in my outfit due to the phone case's already fulfilled me. Therefore, I decided to break the sweetness out of me by pairing this vibrant oversized top (that actually a menswear) with leopard bag purchased from H&M and creepers from T.U.K footwear. 

Choker- I don't think I would be able to wear this 90s vibe choker for a long time, so I don't really intend to buy one but made it myself. I cut some bits from one of my headbands and adapt it on my neck. Flexible isn't it? lol

Catseye London Midyear 2014 Collection

This is the very first time of The Equinox Fashion collaborating with "Catseye London" for their Midyear 2014 collection. And it's my pleasure to take a sneak peek of the collection two weeks before it's being launched on July 7th 2014!  

Catseye London is a UK based brand providing wide variety of quirky yet lovely  fashion accessories and beauty items such as coin purses, glasses cases, key rings, make-up bags and etc. I absolutely love how those trendy products are very versatility and can be mixed&matched with the outfits in several occasions including the special one.  

As you can see that I look a bit different in this post since it's not monochrome or pitch black outfit but "hologram" skirt with pastel pink top. Yes, I intentionally paired these selections in order to match with this lovely pink bag, the latest collection sent from Catseye London. At first, I didn't even believe my eyes that this's me because I looked too sweet for my signature street style lol However, I can prove that I can be sweet for once in a while.

Getaway Style x Rock On Ruby

My vacation month's now officially over since it's June and I am back on track with The Equinox Fashion, a blogging sphere which truly meant the world to me. 

During May, I spent most of my days planning about blog's strategies, as well as, personal branding. I have so many ideas going on in my head right now, however, I would rather take it step by step before I'm gonna be suffocated by my own thoughts. I can absolutely say that I work constantly every single day, and that one of the factors that I was sent to the hospital due to panic attack a week ago. I hadn't realized that deep down I was really pressuring myself, or unconsciously stressing 24/7 until the day I couldn't catch my breath for probably 5 to 10 minutes. Of course, I was terrified since it had never happened to me before. Therefore, my best advice is to loosen up yet stabilize my productive brain. I wonder how!? lol 

Anyway, yesterday I received a super cool tee sent from British brand called "Rock On Ruby" which surprisingly sent to me all the way to Bangkok, Thailand. I was extremely happy because there's my blog name "@thequinoxfashion" screened on top! Who wouldn't love it!? So, I didn't even hesitate to wear this in the next day at all because you have no idea how much this tee mean to me. I mixed and matched this Rock On Ruby's tee with my DIY short jeans and 2D bag purchased from Siam Square. I wanted the look to be the comfiest since it is still Summer in Bangkok, and the weather is incredibly boiling days by days.
