Flamingo Style

I finally had a chance to wear sleeveless tee in Manchester, United Kingdom because it was pretty warm a week ago *smile*. Actually, I love wearing a tank-top, especially over-sized one since it feels very comfy to me. It can be obviously seen that I was wearing it most of the time when I was in Bangkok, Thailand, however, it's too cold to embrace that look in this British weather lol.

I didn't wanna waste my time wearing a sweatshirt or biker jacket when it's warm in this city, so I chose the flamingo tee from Librastyle instead. Actually, I have seen the Flamingo trend everywhere, and that's the reason why I would love to style this look up in my blog. Just look how vibrant it is! It will be a perfect piece for Summer!

I mixed and matched this top with the basic black leggings and silver wedges from Jeffrey Campbell, one of my favourite brands of all time. This look can be one of the most chillaxing looks since I arrived in Manchester tbh. It was probably the first time I could officially wore the tank-top! Personally, I really love the colour of this tank-top because I have too many monochrome pieces in my wardrobes, and hello this is Spring time!

The Equinox Fashion x Villains SF

If you have followed on The Equinox Fashion Instagram, you might be able to see my secret project with Villains SF Thailand, one of my favourite shops which provide wide variety of sick shoes/heels. Their selections can't get anymore crazier such as barbie doll heads, super spiky and etc. Also, I always purchase many Jeffrey Campbell shoes here at Villains SF. Therefore, I am still thrilled every time I think about the conversation between me and the team about "The Equinox Fashion for Villains SF" project.

The purpose of this photo shoot's to be added as the latest banner of the brand, as well as, a representative of the products with street fashion style. We did the shoot in two styles; 1)The pastel daydreamy dress provided by Little By Little with Kai 2) Faux leather jacket with another pair of Jeffrey Campbell. It was really a fun day indeed because I felt really struggling with the chunky heels from Kai since I hadn't worn high-heel for like ages! So, every time we walked around, I had to carefully walk as if I was a robot like one step pause then another step pause lol However, the another look went really smooth!( Maybe it was the look with sneakers, that's why!)

Japanese Inspired, Kimono Trousers x Alice's Pig

For me, the era of super tight skinny jeans has passed. I had been wearing those  unhealthy yet uber hipster trendy for a very long time when I was younger. Black skinny jeans, oversized tank-top and Vans, who wouldn't love that cool look!? But in nowadays, I tend to wear such jeans less than before because I feel a bit tight and uncomfortable when moving around. Especially, eating too much can be a pain in the *** when you have stuff everything in your stomach while such tight jeans is about to explode. So, I guess it is the right time to try something more comfy and mature-ish.

I quite love to do some research about fashion in Japan because there are wide variety of styles that can make you speechless. From Harajuku craziness to high-end glamourous, it is very interesting to see a diversity in many communities. Personally, one of the most beautiful pieces that I would love to have in my wardrobe is definitely a "kimono" since I love the fine and elegant piece of art work which embraced the Japanese's attribute and  trait perfectly.

However, possessing the kimono can be costly, therefore my another option is a "kimono trousers" sent from Alice's Pig. I actually published a post "Kimono Trousers x Alice's Pig" a long time ago but this time I would love to make a different in the outfit by layering up with Primark's jacket and a tiny clutch from Milin.
To play with this look, I really enjoy wearing wedges purchased from Jeffrey Campbell because it would be kind of weird to wear creepers or some sort of boots. It is a Summer time, the feminine but not so feminine look is absolutely what I heart for at the moment.

To Manchester x Rock On Ruby

From Bangkok to Florida, Chicago, London, Kathmandu, California and etc These cities have unquestionably taught me how to appreciate life and living things because my life itself is not merely about street fashion but music and travelling as well. In other words, these factors make me feel alive.

Some of you may perceive that I am moving to Manchester, United Kingdom in September and will be a blogger based, also study international fashion marketing management for my Master Degree for a year. It is definitely not the 1st time moving, but it is my very first stage of "moving alone" And the fact that I am still not getting used to British accent&culture that much. I lived in United States before but I had friends to support me, or in fact my life didn't even have such assertive purposes in those days. So, life was pretty smooth and fun during the verge of becoming a pre-adulthood. However, why Manchester not London this time?

Actually, I love city life, I love being inspired, I love living in massive cities like New York or Chicago, but the characters within Manchester can fulfill my needs in street fashionMoreover, my goal is to do something with fashion in town, so I absolutely need to discover and do things as many as I possibly can. Even though, its size is not that big compared to where I have been before, it still a good option to give it a shot. Some people even said to me "Oh! why you have to go there? What are you gonna do with fashion in such city like that? People are so rude, the city is dirty blah blah blah" But if you are a city girl, you will understand the way of life in a big city. And I love it like that. Well, if you live in Chicago before, that means you have passed the test of risking your life in such a dangerous city (Still wanna go back though lol) Especially, going solo will be an extremely risky yet interesting experience.

Am I nervous? Yes, of course! But i don't really give a S*** about it that much. I know my feelings, and I let them stay there without having any influences on my track. Plus, America has taught me so well of how to be strong and handle unexpected situations. This story sounds like a movie but it really an actual "based on my true story"

"I had never expected to sit on the pavement of the street just to wait for a random transportation to go back home but it happened in Orlando, Florida 6 years ago. I got on a bus to go to another town which I had to do something with my paper work, unfortunately I was informed that I came to the wrong place. OMFG! It took me an hour on the bus just to get here and breath for 5 minutes! So, I had to catch another ride to go back home. However, it wasn't that easy since there weren't any buses...lol I had a phone but i didn't know who to call because I had just arrived Orlando a day before. I tried to go from stores to stores in order to ask for help but few people speaking English because they were Spanish. At the end of the day, I sat on the street and waited for luck to come. I was really scared though because I didn't even know if I would be able to make it home. Think about the movie scene of Hangover or anything that the characters have to hitchhike strangers' cars. Oh yea, I was so lucky to experience such a movie scene like that! Finally, the bus came in hour later which means I could finally catch it to downtown....:)"

What I am trying to say is going abroad can be fun and pain in the same time. However, it can be a great moment of your life. Eventually, you will have a story to tell your kids in the future of what you've been through.

See you in a bit Manchester <3

The Equinox Fashion Ft. Summer Violets

Fashion has to be practical in real life, so that it wouldn't be just a commercial.

When it comes to fashion, some people might live with it, while some appreciate it as a kind of "art" For me, I take everything as an art such as fashion, food, painting and even life. How we create our lives is some sorts of a story. We create it, live with it and enjoy it. My 24 years story has been pretty good so far, up and down like a roller coaster but all the lessons learned make people become a "fighter" in reality.

The more I take a risk, the more I discover that this world has prepared me with many things to explore. I have been searching my "self" for a year which kind of fashions do I really fond of, fashion designer, pr or writer. From year to year, I've found myself embraced with street fashion clothes and gotta admit that I live with it. Or else The Equinox Fashion wouldn't be here if I didn't take a step to become a blogger founder for my own blog. I do watch runway, but in the end my wardrobes are fulled of items which inspired by music and moods. Not even closed to Autumn or Winter season after all lol First, some high-end brands are just overrated. Second, I need to wear my "style" not a commercial look.

And my journey so far?

I am in United Kingdom, but I had a little meeting with such a lovely blogger from Leeds last week. Even though, we spent a time together merely a while, I really enjoyed chitchatting with her because I love to meet new people and make new friends. Who know maybe we can collaborate in the future. Thus, feel free to contact me via my blog, Facebook page or whatsoever, I would love to get to know you more :)

(*The Equinox Fashion

Coach, Bart and Jeffrey Campbell Shoes

One of another extraordinary days with a combination of varied brands and street market items.

At first I was wearing only Bart Simpsons top (My favorite printed character ever!) and skinny pants. However, for more cheerful and lively look, I matched the outfit with Coach's umbrella and silver Jeffrey Campbell shoes :)
