Harajuku Photoshoot Area that Makes You Feel Like a Local
Where to do a photoshoot at Harajuku? In fact, Tokyo is a paradise for the fashion photoshoot, especially if you are a fan of a city life. One of the most fashion spots, and tourist attraction, this crazy Takeshita street may not be an ideal to do the photo shoot in the middle of the way as there always be loads of people walking. Like in New York City, 'no stopping!' Specially at the weekend, doing the street photo shoot is like a way to kill yourself in the middle of the crowd. However, there are a few spots of Takeshita, Harajuku that made me fall in love.

We All Need that B**** Attitude
I am not gonna lie, that (good) bitchy attitude has sculptured me to become a strong person nowadays. Bitch has three meanings for me; 1) the terms I (or we) call the BFF, 2) tough, strong, high-standard, fighter, 3) S*U* So 'we all have that bitch attitude' means the moment when we just have to step out from the crowd, and stand for ourselves. Admit it ladies, this world is not a sweet fantasy like in a cartoon. In contrast, it is the world mixed with good and bad people. The more I grow up, the more I realize that it is all about a competition, even in the blogging industry. We can't just be kind to every single person because being too kind means letting the guard down. As a result, it may lead to the point of being taken advantage. I am kind, but I have never let my guard down because I have this bitchy mode on literally to protect myself from being let down and disappointed. Similar to work, I am picky and bossy and I know that being like this will lead to the great performance of the project I have worked on.

Reasons Why I love Getting Older (Happy Birthday to Me)
I know it is weird to say that the more I am getting older, the more I love my life. Though, I have been concerning about my face more than before (you know what I mean, the beginning of anti-aging product), I really love living my life right now. Maybe, I wasn't be able to be myself or do what I loved when I was younger, that is one of the reasons why gambling with my blogging career has been my everything. Sweats and tears, everything has happened along the journey. Working part-time as a fashion marketeer, I have been enjoying and appreciating every single bit of what is going on. I am sad that my one and only dog cannot celebrate my birthday because he is somewhere in the heaven right now...However, life goes on, right? Looking in the past not just how much I have dedicated to The Equinox Fashion Blog, family, relationship, career, everything has made me stronger.

48 Hours #OffDutyDenim
'48 hours in #OffDutyDenim' is the campaign I collaborated with George (Asda's clothing chain) The challenge was to style the choices of denim pieces during the weekend. As mentioned in the previous post about this AW 2015 trend, which all about the suede items, as well as, anything retro. Therefore, I have selected two different styles of denim in order to create individual looks. So, here are my weekend looks for this weekend.

New Look Jeans Part I
Do you love wearing jeans? Personally, they are one of my most versatile pieces I have in my wardrobes because they are quite easy to style with almost anything. From the checked shirt to printed crop top, jeans are their BFF. The Equinox Fashion has recently been gifted a pair of New Look Jeans sent straight from London to Manchester, and I had an idea to style the jeans in two different ways. So, this is "How I style New Look Jeans Part I"

Stay Weird
Some people think that fashion blogger is such a freedom sphere when we can wear whatever we want. I love seeing a wide variety of styles because it amazes me every time when I see people out there dare to be 'different' However, it is not that easy compared to where I am from. If I wear a black lipstick in Bangkok, Thailand, people will 'stare' and think that I am weird. Fashion in my country is great and more open-minded nowadays, however, there's still a conservative culture exists in the society. People always seem to follow Korean trend when girls need to be white, sweet and so girly. It is really rare to see people with pastel or crazy hair colour since people love judging among another. Some people fear of criticism, or even me who often feel discouraged when others start judging or commenting negatively of how I (supposed to) look. But you know what, just fuck it and stay weird.

Breaking Rocks
Hello from Dubai!
It's been about 7 hours flying from Manchester to Dubai and now I am actually waiting for the flight to Bangkok, Thailand. However, I still have an hour left before departing to my home country. Hence, it would be the perfect time to update the latest collaboration with the new online clothing store "Breaking Rocks" who generously sent me this super cute&cool donuts sweatshirt a few weeks ago.
As you know, I am a fan of the 'sweatshirt' so no surprise why I opted for this over-sized donuts sweatshirt when the brand asked me to choose my most favourtite product! I'm not gonna lie but April had been one of the hella nightmare month in my entire life because I had to finish THREE assignments which were due on the same week...Crazy... Honestly, I spent April in hopping between my room and supermarket lol I literally felt like a robot with no limited energy. However, I have finally accomplished it, so I absolutely want to celebrate the new beginning of my life by wearing more colourful clothes. If you have a chance to visit my Instagram, you can probably see that my account has been so vivid lately! Even though, I am a monochrome person, I do LOVE this kind of colourful taste because it makes me happy every time I am on the platform.
This 'Donut worry sweater' is another item added in my wardrobes and I constantly wear it. I love wearing over-sized or baggy clothes because they are so comfy and versatile in pairing with leggings or other pants. Besides, I am a fan of this street clothing brand as well since its style is so my style if you know what I am sayin'. I am not a type pf a person who wear dresses or girly products because it makes me feel awkward (sometimes lol). So, thank you Breaking Rocks for this opportunity in collaborating with The Equinox Fashion. You know it's quite hard to find the right brand who provides you the right products when it can be too mainstream at the department store where I always end up buying nothing.

Flamingo Style
I finally had a chance to wear sleeveless tee in Manchester, United Kingdom because it was pretty warm a week ago *smile*. Actually, I love wearing a tank-top, especially over-sized one since it feels very comfy to me. It can be obviously seen that I was wearing it most of the time when I was in Bangkok, Thailand, however, it's too cold to embrace that look in this British weather lol.
I didn't wanna waste my time wearing a sweatshirt or biker jacket when it's warm in this city, so I chose the flamingo tee from Librastyle instead. Actually, I have seen the Flamingo trend everywhere, and that's the reason why I would love to style this look up in my blog. Just look how vibrant it is! It will be a perfect piece for Summer!
I mixed and matched this top with the basic black leggings and silver wedges from Jeffrey Campbell, one of my favourite brands of all time. This look can be one of the most chillaxing looks since I arrived in Manchester tbh. It was probably the first time I could officially wore the tank-top! Personally, I really love the colour of this tank-top because I have too many monochrome pieces in my wardrobes, and hello this is Spring time!

Summer Style Collaboration with Motel Rocks
I can't be any happier that we are officially in Spring season since I was struggling to live in Manchester through the worst Winter nightmare when a girl from a hot country like me will never ever be able to getting used to the cold lol. Another reason why I love living in the hot country is I can happily play with my clothes. As you can see that today I am wearing a sunflower dress by Motel Rocks.
To be honest, I am a fan of this online retailer because the products provided are very chic but not too girly for a girl like me who loves rock and electronica music. I was very delighted when I received an email from Motel Rocks regard the summer style collaboration with The Equinox Fashion, and that's why I chose this "Madge Strappy Dress in Sunflower Print" because the sun is shinning, and I just wanna wear something cute yet suitable with my style. As soon as, I saw this dress, I knew instantly that I would mix&match it with my favourite must-have leather jacket. I love wearing my biker jacket with everything because it boosts my confident every time I put it on.
Some of you may know that I will be going to Bangkok, Thailand next month and I will absolutely take this dress with me since it would be extremely hot! I can't wait to see my family which I haven't seen for more than half a year, also my 16 year-old dog and friends. I can't wait to go to DvF grand opening event, and Martin Garrix live at full moon party next month.
I am more than ready to come home for a short vacay!

Sweatshirt is My Comfort Zone
"Sweatshirt is my comfort zone" I totally mean it when I said that because it is one of the most versatile pieces in my wardrobes.
I have been a street fashion blogger for almost four years (time flies!) and I can see lots of progressions in me including my street style which seems to be a bit different from the beginning. However, one thing that I haven't changed a bit is my purchasing behaviour. Call me crazy because I keep buying similar sweatshirts whenever I go shopping. In my heart, I truly realize that I need to stop this habit because I have probably 5 or 6 sweatshirts alike...well they are in different colours anyway lol.
Personally, I love purchasing sweatshirts from online retailers, especially street fashion stores because they always provide me as one of the customers a wide variety of cool sweatshirts that you may not be able to find in department stores. In fact, the quality of the products offered by some high-street retails may not be as good as online's. From my experience, I bought the sweatshirt from Topshop a while ago, and now I feel as if I wasted my money because the fabric and material of the product is so rubbish (meh!)
Recently, I have got an email from "The Yub" shop, an online street fashion retailers based in Singapore, asked me if I would love to select any pieces from the website. Of course! I would love to because its items are so unique! Even what I am wearing right now is also from The Yub shop, this hardcore Monroe has been one of my favourite pieces so far because I haven't seen anyone in Manchester wearing it yet. Also, instead of choosing my signature black colour, I decided to go for the vibrant one. This pink sweatshirt is very versatile like I mentioned since I have mixed and matched with a broad range of bottoms such as leggings and skinny denim.
It is such a good feeling when you eventually find the right shop who can provides you the right clothes which you can call your style!

Busiest Days of the Month
First of all, I would love to thank you all of you who have participated in my previous post about "Fashion Blogger is the New PR?" I am very appreciated and feel so grateful to have such amazing and friendly bloggers with me.
After a week of relaxing and planning on work, now I am back to 100% working mode since I am surrounded by three assignments from university. Now, I truly believe when people say " I don't understand how those people can blog and study at the same time" Because I feel like killing myself at this rate lol Well, there always be the solution of how to manage everything even for those busiest days of the month.
Even though, this is just a quick message, I still want to show up and update what's going on with my life since I don't want to disappear, especially I would love to take responsibility as full time fashion blogger.
What you guys up to? Any special plans for Spring? Anyone's travelling to Bangkok, Thailand next month? Because I'm the one who's going ;)

Two-toned Sequin Dress
In the previous post 'Get 20% Off from Girl In Mind' I talked about my shopping experience with online retailer 'Girl In Mind' which I am in love with, however, it is not just about electric blue jumper I have gotten from the brand but this 'two-toned sequin dress' also.
Once in a while for me as a street fashion blogger of The Equinox Fashion to get dressed up like PROPER dress if you know what I mean because I always wear pants or something street style not the girly girl vibe. However, to have that one dress in the wardrobe is also crucial to all of us since we are women, and we must have one item which ready to be put on in any occasions. Even though I wear monochrome or even dark colours to special occasions at night time, it doesn't look appropriate to wear black in every situation.
That's why I made a decision to add this Marie Heavy Sequin Dress in my closet because it would be very useful for my fashion events. I love these two tones dress because it's mixed with green and blue, the colours which I am obsessed at the moment. I had one sequin top in black but I rarely wear it since it is too itchy because the lining inside is too thin, but this Marie is very comfy because the lining is attached inside properly. Another reason why I had to have this dress as a part of my collection is its bling bling shiny ability or whatever we would call it lol It just so BRIGHT and looks so outstanding when taking photos. Have I ever told you guys that I love bling bling items?! I actually love those vibrant colours and match them with my signature black. To be honest...:)
