To motivate the girls out there is my favorite part of this blog. I, myself didn't have much confidence (in every aspect of life) But now I have changed. It has been a while to transform myself to become the 'new me' who enjoys living life through many good and bad circumstances. Being presence in the social media world has been a great fun, yet tiring. There are so many good things about it, but it also causes the negative feelings once in a while. Too many temptations to be like others, too many things to keep up in order to be in 'trend' like everyone else. However, it doesn't matter because we can absolutely be the best version of ourselves on the social media without following the rules. Tbh, it is the best feeling in the world.

How to Be Confident in a Meeting (Attire and Etiquette)
Preparing an attire for a business meeting can absolutely lead to the first impression. We are lucky to live in a modern century, when every 'how-to' is online, and we can just browse for the inspirations, and guidelines from others. Though we do not have many designer' clothes to define us with the price tags, we are able to look expensive in whatever we have in the wardrobes. Dressing up like a pro is not only boosting the individual confidence, but first impression towards others also. What matters the most in the meeting? Attire and etiquette.

Daily Workout Routine to Get Rid of Weight Insecurity
I have gained weight since I moved to Manchester due to the amount of food I heavily consumed during 2015, and I am extremely not happy about it. Whenever I look at my own reflection in front of the mirror, I feel quite discouraged to wear whatever I want because of that unwanted tummy, and bigger thighs I didn't ask for. Well, I guess we all have been through the moment, when we just can't wear the same old favourite jeans anymore. When I was in Bangkok, Thailand, I was skinnier than this because I literally worked out every day, also the food was more variety than here in the UK. However, I just cannot blame the food anyway, no one has to take the responsibility but myself. Recently, I have started to feel better about my body weight because I have been to the gym more often, while setting my mind with a 'can-do' attitude in order to bring my old body back.

3 Useful Decisions that will Help Us Stay Motivated Throughout 2016
It is not about 'New Year, New Me' It is all about 'New Year, Same Person with a Different Determination' There's no point thinking about we should have done this/that in a previous year because 2016 has just begun, and we have the new 365 days to accomplish our goals. Though there were a lot of things happening in my (Manchester based) fashion blogging career such as working alongside with Adidas Neo, attending DvF fashion show, etc, it has to be continued and improved. When we really want something to happen, we just can't stop working on it, can we? We have to keep it going in order to pursue our dreams. Though it is not that easy to get what we want, here are three useful and practical decisions that will help us stay motivated throughout this new year.

Why I Love Writing Motivational Posts, Though I Called Myself 'Fashion Blogger'
I LOVE WRITING MOTIVATION POSTS, AND I ALSO LOVE WRITING HOW THE REALITY OF FASHION INDUSTRY IS. I called myself as a 'fashion blogger' based in Manchester, but I don't know if you notice that I have started to use the word 'personal style blogger' for a while. I have realized that I only publish my #ootd with the contents about life and inspiring stuff...I love motivating other people, and I am not scared of being judged about what I have written. There always be people who agree and disagree, but hey this blogosphere is mine, and what's the point of being like others? I have found my voice, and I am happy every time when people say "you have inspired me a lot, Gail"

Why You Should Stop Comparing Yourself to Others
Yesterday, I finally had a chance to just sit down and read a lot of blogs written by random bloggers I discovered on the Instagram. Surprisingly, more than 60% of the posts I read were just not right. "Something's wrong with this blogging industry." said to myself while spending time going through several posts online. Though, I am really an optimistic person, I still tried to put myself in their shoes just to get the idea of why and how they comparing themselves to other people, which lead to negative and depressive attitude obviously..It is normal to compare ourselves to others because we are a human-being, but going overboard is not the ideal. I look at myself, think about a number of followers I have on social media, and that's it. Basically, I really don't give a f*** about the figures because life is too short for this shit. If you are comparing yourself, also your life to the visual on the social platform, you are going nowhere in this industry. This habit needs to stop.

Why people reading your blog? X Majique London
Have you ever asked yourself “Why you’re writing your blog?”
Some may create this online sphere as a hobby, diary or social media which they
can share with friends or just for leisure time. Personally, I started blogging
a few years ago when I was studying in university. I didn’t even feel like
blogging would be something very crucial to my life because it’s just one of
the internet’s tools which you can use for meeting new people and tell the
stories. Sometimes, I also wondered what should I really blog since there are
wide variety of topics to opt for such as lifestyle, fashion trend, food and
etc. However, The Equinox Fashion has surprisingly started to unintentionally
bring out my inner character bits by bits and make me who I really am today.
From my experience, blogging is like personal branding. Your
blog is your brand, and to have such brand means that you have to stand out
from the massive crowd. Nowadays, there are lots and lots of fashion bloggers,
beauty vloggers popping up on the internet. So, the question is “how are you
gonna make yourself become one of those bloggers to be remembered?"
I even started blogging by updating runway trends which I
felt as if I had to force myself to come up with the topics. I don’t really
watch or update with the fashion shows to be honest because I love
mix&match items from street fashion market, or going out and taking
snapshots from REAL people. A bag worth $1000 doesn’t make you become a
trendsetter in reality. So how to become THAT blogger everyone keeps following?
You need to create something called “Your Personal Style”
and stick to that as if style is your heart& soul. Many girls can wear a
Simpsons skirt like what I am wearing, but the outfit with my skirt is going to
be only look that represents my street style. You have to think of how to be different
from everybody else and it will lead you the way, as well as, start disclosing
your genuine character too. Like I said about “branding yourself” Stick to your
signature, and growing the readers/audience by letting them remember “who you
really are” Even though some may ask that to stick with your style mean you
cannot wear something else? Yes, you can but it doesn’t mean that today you
wear dress, tomorrow you wear street style, and the next day you become
Parisian. My advice is to cling to what
your signature is. In one outfit, you gotta have something that tells “your
story”

Blogging Motivation x Retrogue/Pauls's Boutique
In this summer, tropical palm trees, pineapples, such these summery prints seem to be really on trend among us due to the popularity of Instagram pictures I have come across these days. From online shopping websites to famous retail stores in several malls, they mostly provide the tropical vibe selections to fulfill their favourite shoppers in the season like this. To be honest, I had obsessed with those delightful prints for a while until I realized that at the end of the day, my Instagram photo's just going to look like theirs. Actually, the purpose of The Equinox Fashion is not only for (re)introduce or collaborate with street fashion brands/designers or online shopping destinations but small and local boutiques are what this blog specially aims to present as well because their clothes are even matching with my street style signature. Like I mentioned in this post that I'm not intending to be here in order to show how many brands I have worked with or famous people I have hung out with, but only my passion to street fashion.
I love wandering around town, taking photos and appreciating the "now" moment. Therefore, my character is quite easy-going. However, I can be a really picky yet independent working woman. Truth is, I had explored in the fashion industry for a while til I knew what my blog's finally going to turn out. I'm only 5'2'' (are you surprised!?) with little physical attractiveness and don't have such confident to pull off a pink lipstick like everybody else. That is why I choose to bring out my inner self and fuse with The Equinox Fashion in order to be my "signature" instead.
Talking about the brands' collaborations, I honestly grateful to have an opportunity to work with them. Believe it or not, I have attached their name cards or even tiny postcards written by designers/boutique owners in my personal working scrapbook (Yes, I use scrapbook as a schedule and marketing planning lol) And from my experience, I would rather suggest you guys that "please choose to work with brands only if they are good to go with your style" Because personally I feel more confident with the outfit styling, as well as, the quality of the content. I know that there are wide variety of online sources to contact or work with brands, however, there's no need to rush. Acceptance and rejection are normal since there's gonna be brands who appreciate and love your style while some might say no because you don't have a certain amount of followers they have expected. Don't discourage yourself by comparing your followers to others' and don't give up! I have a strong belief "If you keep doing it no matter how long it takes, there's gotta be the way to make it happen" Have you ever heard of Laws of Attraction? or the quote said "When one door closes, another seems to open"? This is pretty much work for me.
Just ignore those negative believers, and focus on your heart. A girl who resigned from secure full-time job and started everything from the beginning like me can do it, so why can't you?
**Thank you for this outfit provided in the collaboration of pom pom playsuit sent from Retrogue and Jessy Bag from Paul's Boutique.
